I can make orthotics for infantry shoes/boots that will allow them to walk better, more efficiently, and diminish the overall foot pathology sustained by foot soldiers. How do I get the feds to look at what my startup company can do?

Get a politician as a silent partner unless you are already related to one.

Wow, that is pretty awesome. I'm sure not only infrantry could benefit from these orthotics. My husband is a truck driver and due to his time in the military, has some serious issues with his feet, ankles, etc. They diagnosed him as having plantar fascias. Does your company have a website?

your best bet is to get with a boot manufacturer that makes military boots. youll make more money. youll also have a better chance of getting your product on their feet. it takes a while for new products to become standard issue. the army test cycle takes a while and it might not pass the cost/benefit analysis. individual units buy a lot of commercial gear to improve on their standard issue stuff or to fill a need that standard issue stuff doesnt fit.
