If our troops were drafted, they might have a leg to stand on, but in case you haven't noticed, the US armed forces do a job that we pay them to do. They do not have to enlist if they choose not to.

All of our troops in Iraq have gone there because they signed up to do it. When enlisting, it is made clear what the job entails.
I am so sick of complainers, "Bring our troops home." Shut up. They want to be there. If they don't, then I don't want them on my payroll, and I consider them treasonous friggin' deserters.

We pay them whether of not we are at war. If I'm paying a warrior with my hard earned tax dollars, he'd better be frikkin' warrioring!

I say, "You go warriors! Phuck up those insurgent scumbags!! Throw in a few grenades from your supporter, Dr. Evil!!"

Ok...

So... a lot of people insuledt Clinton. But then after the Bush administration, people started saying how good Clinton was in office. And how this war on terror wouldn't have happened if he were in office.

There are many other examples.

But my point is this...

Are there any good leaders in the world?
Or is the concept of good and bad just based on comparisons of other leaders?

Is TODAYS conservative culture, stuctured, built-up cowardly, around inability to cope with suffering of people where it's terrifying that someone can maybe be suffering and NOT AGREE with your views on things?

I guess
I mean is conservatism Today largely a way of not having any courage with other people's sufferin?g by carefully patching together for one basic refrain: "IF ONLY YOU AGREED WITH my view on things YOU WOULDN'T BE SUFFERING like this in the first place."

Isn't this like essential quality of contemporary "conservative" like- - :: personality structure or something?

I mean I don't know. You know. But like what's up with this?
Really?

What do you think?

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President George W. Bush said on Wednesday that American patience over Iraq had its limits but
"We will not put more pressure on the Iraqi government than it can bear."

Bush said the United States remained committed to Iraq "until the job is done," but would adjust tactics to confront a changing enemy.

He voiced qualified confidence in Maliki. "We're with him as long as he continues to make tough decisions," Bush said.

...ahumm,,,and what are "tough decisions," pray tell? Killing more Iraqi policemen? More Iraqi civilians? Odd so many policemen killed, as they are representative of new security in Iraq......odd indeed. Where are combat troops?

It seems that no matter what explanation people come up with for not liking Bush, they're attacked and scrutinized.

Yet if you bring up Nixon or Clinton, nobody has a problem with talking smack.

I guess this goes both ways.

But all the people that don't appreciate Bush get quite a handful of "thumb downs" and everyone that likes him get a handful of "thumb ups".

Is this just a method of patriotism?

I mean honestly,... when is it OKAY to scrutinize Bush without getting reported or accused of not being a "true American citizen"?

And please provide real answers. This is a perfectly legitimate question.
