i think that it is a true report, and it makes a good point.
those people are willing to sacrifice themselves to protect us, and in return, all they ask is that we don't send them out to die for no reason.
if even our brave soldiers are against being in iraq, why would we remain there?
its time we listen to our people, and bring them home.

I wouldn't trust most of these reports unless they come directly from the military. None of them want to be over there, but they all knew it was a possibilty when they signed the contract. Most of the people I have talked to that have been over there were proud to have served and would go back if they were needed. So I don't think that there are that many that are willing to risk their careers because they are getting a little scared.

They can request all they want to, but it will not do them any good. In fact, it will probably only bring unwanted attention to them. They will likely be closely watched to prevent them from doing something that could negatively affect their unit.

debrah- i think it's a legitimate request.people are dying in vain and personally, i see no end in sight. i believe in and support our men and women in the service but i also believe there time could be better served in other ways.
