It is an idea that if you invest, build a bussiness you will need help and thus create jobs. In the purest sense there are those that suceed and those, that don't fail and live in poverty, thus they say the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer, OR it's survival of the fittest.

Free enterprise encourages capitalists or investors to engage in business that they want under government regulation. Jobs are created in the businesses that are established with people having having freedom on what kind of work to choose.

Free Enterprise means that you are free to do whatever work you want and keep the majority of the profits. It encourages people to do work that they like, and will therefore work harder. It rewards you for the work you do, which also encourages you to work harder. The more successful you are, the more wealth you can amass or the more people you will have to hire as your company grows.
