Not a chance. If that were the case, Saudi Arabia would have taken control of Iraqi oil a long time ago.
It's obvious that the Iraq War is a botched operation and GWB is too arrogant or too dumb to admit it.
I was all for getting Saddam out, but GWB has handled this in what is, in all probability, the worst way possible.
Osama bin Laden and his band of drooling psychopaths took out the WTC and punched a hole in the Petagon for reasons they have already made quite well known. If (or should I say when) we get hit again, it will be because these whackjobs hate us for what and who we are...not because of oil or anything else.
