Unfortunately it is only when Republicans win. The other side is so out of touch that they can't believe they could lose. Sore losers.

Here's a better question - will you have a country left after Nov 6, 2006 ?
Consider this:
1) The president of Diebold (Canton, Ohio), the manufacturer of the most popular electronic voting machines in the country, openly endorses the Republican party. He guaranteed to deliver all of Ohio's electoral votes in 2004. The 2004 Ohio votes, by the way, are still being contested in court - massive fraud supported by the Ohio Attorney General.
2) There is no paper trail created by these machines, hence, no way to confirm how many people voted and how they voted.
3) These machines can be hacked, creating the opportunity to disenfranchise voters using these machines.
4) These machines can break down, preventing thousands of voters from voting at all.
5) Most of these machines are located in "Red" states, whose legislatures are dominated by Republicans. They could theoretically rig elections forever, keeping these states Republican forever.
6) Suggest you go back and read about the voting fiasco that took place in Florida in 2000 - a real embarrassment to this country. Thousands of votes for Gore and a lesser amount for Bush were never counted on punch cards because the cards were not properly constructed. Small remnants of paper clung to the backs of the cards, even though it was quite obvious there was only one hole pushed into the cards. Those votes were never counted.
Watch all hell break loose after Nov 6th of this year - Democrats will be boiling mad when they see how they got ripped.
Guess what - I hope the Republicans retain control of Congress - they deserve to inherit the disaster they have been creating over the past six years. If the Dems win control, they'll only have the mess the Republicans created to look forward to.

You can say whatever you want - doesn't make it true.
Besides, the elections are unfair and illegal anyways because on federal ballots, only a few partisan candidates are listed, not all. Even then, they still differ from state to state. How is that a fair and equal election?
I don't think you can trust any Democrat or Republican because they are so controlled by their party that they forget what is best for the country.

We can claim it, but we can't use the ACLU to fight it,
The Dems already have ACLU in place in key states to file lawsuits ( briefs already written) to sue if they lose in those states.
Now if the ACLU really thought tha the voting machines were bad, they would be bad no matter what party won, and they would file suit for either party no matter who won or lost.
So the voting is only wrong if the republicans lose.
Does anything sound wrong with that.
I would love to get someone from the ACLU tell me how it is ok if the republicans lose with the voting machines, but if they win, there has to be something wrong with the machines

Go ahead, if you like to blame others for your problems. Otherwise work to make your country better like everyone else.
