Does the US Constitution make law in say... Australlia or does it apply only to US Citizens? How EXACTLY is the Military Commission Act unconstitutional as it applies only to alien enemy combatants?

Section 943C: "Any alien unlawful enemy combatant is subject to trial by military commission under this chapter" - with "alien" defined in section 948a(3) as "a person who is not a citizen of the United States".

I've been watching the various Congressional debates aired on C-SPAN lately, and have noticed a few States have third party candidates running for election. After hearing everyone, myself included, complain how Washington is in need of a shakedown, I was curious if anyone was seriously considering mixing things up.

How can we be sure if the votes are taken behind closed doors and guarded by police?
Why can't they be counted out in the open?
How could they possibly be counted openly if there are no paper trails?

How do you explain away the deaths in Iraq, africa, and asia due to the people you vote (or do not vote, but win due to your lack of support for an opposition) all because of your countries foreign policy and YOUR need for a larger burger?
What stories do you tell yourself so you can sleep at night?

SEOUL, South Korea -- North Korean leader Kim Jong Il expressed regret about his country's nuclear test to a Chinese delegation and said Pyongyang would return to international nuclear talks if Washington backs off a campaign to financially isolate the country, a South Korean newspaper reported Friday.

"If the U.S. makes a concession to some degree, we will also make a concession to some degree, whether it be bilateral talks or six-party talks," Kim was quoted as telling a Chinese envoy, the mass-circulation Chosun Ilbo reported, citing a diplomatic source in China.

Kim told the Chinese delegation that "he is sorry about the nuclear test," the newspaper reported.

The delegation led by State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan met Kim on Thursday and returned to Beijing later that day - ahead of U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice's arrival in the Chinese capital Friday. China is viewed as a key nation in efforts to persuade the North to disarm, as it is the isolated communist nation's main trading partner.

In a few months I will be going through a quite possibly, ugly custody battle. I am getting an early jump on it and want to get some police reports that my ex has filed in the past (domestic disputes, etc.). Do I need to get my lawyer to go get those, do I need a judge to order the release of them, or is it possible to order them myself?
