How do you explain away the deaths in Iraq, africa, and asia due to the people you vote (or do not vote, but win due to your lack of support for an opposition) all because of your countries foreign policy and YOUR need for a larger burger?
What stories do you tell yourself so you can sleep at night?

How about we start with the fact that I did vote but not for the person who is making all the decisions right now? And while I think we were all lied to get into Iraq, I sleep at night knowing I didn't make the decision to go there and I didn't vote for G.W. But on the other hand I do have trouble going to sleep because I worry about those that are over there fighting for our freedom. Protecting our soil with their lives.

The American society as a whole has no control over any war or anything else done by the government here. If I could stop this don't you think I would? We all would, but we are not as free as everybody seems to think. It doesn't matter who we vote for, if they don't like who we picked they just "recount" until they get what they want. Do you think we want to send our sons and daughters to die for somebodies oil rights? We don't. The blood is not on the American peoples hands, it is on the leaders hands. We have no control over what they do. So many people are brainwashed into thinking they are calling the shots here, but really we are all just pawns in this great big war game. When the King moves his pawns around they listen or die. The King has a bloody crown ands wears the blood on his hands. I go to bed with a clean conscience every night knowing I have done the best I can everyday to help the people around me. That is all I can do. Try to live. Our opposition does not matter. This is no longer a democracy.

Obviously the question is being posed by someone whose medication as been withheld or forgotten.

We sleep just great thanks...The deaths in Iraq, Africa and Asia are primarily as result of Radical Islam fanatics who perpetrate atrocities on a daily basis to those that refuse to convert.
Since America feeds much of the population of Africa and Asia as well as being the largest provider of medical and humanitarian aid to the rest of the world, your assertion is clearly one made by someone with a liberal socialist disorder and not to be taken seriously by any one that has any thoughts except "hate Bush, hate Bush".

Ahhhh CJ the mentally challenged are always on at this time of night. I have no need for stories because I sleep very well in my arrogance over other lesser countries. I exploit my right to vote for those who beleive in democracy and a country's right to exist in freedom without tyrannical dictatorship. I also believe that a country's people have an obligation to run their government for their best interests. If the Darfur Region and North Korea can't get it together through the UN you will always come crying to us to help you out and then spit on the hand that helps you. Remember that the next time some despot overthrows your third world crap hole of a country.

And yes I love my bigger burger, large car and huge beers and boobs. Envy is quite evident in your angst

Democracy is a fickle thing and sometimes who the people want is not who the people get. Apathy is the worst of all sins and unfortunately no one earth, once they have clothes, food, and safety is immune from that. I'm passionate about PEACE and the common good of us ALL, not the few, the rich, the white bred Americans. I try to see everyones plight and needs, I look at news and values from both sides, and I VOTE... but the people I vote for SELDOM get elected because those people don't IMPASSION a lot of people who do vote. Passion, to get out there and ELECT someone, is most often aroused by anger, something I can see you are rightfully full of.

Many Americans were angry about many american issues, debt, freeloaders milking the common tax funds, and what we call wedge issues that are practically meaningless to the common good... Prayer in schools, Whether or not Abortion should be legal, whether or not the rich should have to pay more or less in taxes than the poor people. And on those issues alone the CURRENT people in Government were able to arouse the passions of many Americans to go vote for them and it worked. But those people had other agendas as well and when 9/11 happened, it let them do whatever they felt was best for there financial backers- Oil companies, big mega corporations, etc. But those faceless entities are not Americans, they are money machines who don't CARE about people...there workers, the environment, other people not making them money. And with that its led to our current problems...and your problems. Many people now know that who we voted for isn't who became the government...and MANY Americans hope to begin changing that in just 2 weeks...with another election.

I can't appologize for those I didn't choose. I NEVER wanted my brothers and sisters to bomb anyone, kill anyone, make anyones life somewhere nearby or far away WORSE. I can appologize that we as Americans CAN'T do things QUICKLY enough to see the truth and change them, but every two years we get to hopefully begin changing the people who can change America and the world...for the better. But that is Democracy. Our President has operated like a dictator-And we aren't accepting that any more. He's lost credibility, authority, and respect from us as well as you. But as for sleeping at night...sometimes some of us don't. We are not all one evil person. There are good people, compassionate and caring. There are apathetic people who just don't care. There are those(THANKFULLY FEW) who are up to no good and don't care who gets killed or hurt or who even cares if what they are doing is good for anyone but themselves. Unfortunately a few of those people were rich enough, powerful enough and lied well enough to get into power, but as the lies get exposed-they are getting shoved out. They may deserve far more than being fired, but until they are out of power, no one can make that determination. You can do what you feel necessary where you are to stay alive, become successful and hopefully one day happy. We will do what we can here to try to do what we can to relize that we screwed up and to change things. But please realize I CARE, I WANT A BETTER WORLD FOR EVERYONE, I RESPECT ALL HUMANITY AND ALL RELIGIONS, I AM GREAVED AT WHAT WE AS COUNTRY HAVE DESCENDED TO AND WHAT WE HAVE DONE HERE AND ABROAD, and I AM AN AMERICAN.

I hope we both can have a better tomorrow, even if today is a nightmare.

I take comfort in knowing that with someone like you that no matter what America did you would hate us anyway. Too much involvement in the Middle East and too little involvement in Africa. Admit it, the only thing that would make you happy is if America just went away.

Who are the people in which YOU believe in that give you comfort for a night of sleep?

1. That I didn't vote for the people who agree to go to Iraq in the first place.

2. How do I wash the blood? By voting in November...

first of all, ask yourself what do you today to stop the war or saddam before he killed millions of innocent iraqi/other people. what did you do back then?? did you write them and ask them? do always lump everyone together as a rule? did you ask him if he slept good on the dead bones of children? maybe if if it was your loved one you might understand? maybe if you grew up or read a history book you would understand. my suggestion for you is first join the marines in iraqi and ask them about their hamburgers, see if you make it home for lunch from bagdad! Our foreign policies have to change from civilized to gorrilla/terroist type like yours to survive. stay in you 3rd world piss poor *** ingnorant attitude or join/support the greatest country in the history of the world, the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! EAT THAT!!you want cheese with that whine??? BOOOYYAAAAA!!! sleeping GREAT in the USA!!!!!!!!!!!ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Yeah, what Kathy T said. We are still the good guys. Our soldiers are doing a job. Our President has steadfastly continued to fight terror over the objections of those that would just have us leave the terrorists alone. If we stop fighting, maybe they will just go away? I don't think so. America is great! Wish you were here!
