How can we be sure if the votes are taken behind closed doors and guarded by police?
Why can't they be counted out in the open?
How could they possibly be counted openly if there are no paper trails?

we can't be sure. that is the sad thing. and the computer voting is so easily tampered with, but even ballot voting can be changed. i know someone who worked the election in mexico this year, and he said they were bribed to throw away votes for obrador but were afraid to come forward about it. hopefully that kind of thing won't happen in the US, but you never know.

Maybe by voting twice. Absentee before the election and e-voting during the election. That way if the e-votes are rigged, we always have our real votes to solve the problem. But I don't think you can vote twice...unless poll worker gives you an absentee ballot and your voting card. That way if there are close elections, we just go to the paper votes and count the votes. Yes, it's time consuming but I think any fair person would rather take days to count the votes and give in a fair result than have a quick and fraudulent results.

I honestly have blended ideas and thoughts approximately this concern. i've got faith interior the actual variety of democracy. government appointed/elected by way of the folk. And interior the case of the 2000 Presidential Election, a majority of usa needed Gore, however the way that the states universal voted...the Electoral college votes went to Bush. it extremely is one reason i could prefer to make certain it eradicated. yet on the different hand...if the applicants have been voted totally on the favored vote, they possibly does no longer even think of to flow into the smaller populated states. Me being from Ohio...i'm no longer lots tormented by way of that...despite the fact that if it extremely is nevertheless the thought they gained't campaign to each state. they could basically pass to long island, California, Texas, Florida, Ohio, and so on. they does no longer think of approximately a number of the recent England States or a number of the western states which at the instant are not that heavily populated. In case somebody isn't conscious of this...i will tell you what and how the electoral college works. shall we are saying that Bob Smith and John Doe are working for president, and the state below question is Ohio. whilst the votes are counted, the majorit of the folk of Ohio voted for Bob Smith, the 20 electoral votes from Ohio could pass to Bob Smith. And the variety of votes are bases on the variety of Representatives and Senators in Congress. (each state has a minimum of two electoral votes via fact each state has 2 senators) and how many Reps are in Congress according to state is desperate by way of the inhabitants of the state in accordance to the main up-tp-date census. And of Bob Smith can acquire a minimum of 270 votes out of the 538 votes, then Bob Smith often is the subsequent president. lower back, I honestly have blended thoughts approximately this concern. yet another reason i think of we'd desire to continually no longer get rid of that's on account that's a prepare of this united states. i do no longer know of the different united states interior the worldwide that has elections somewhat like this. And that's greater honest than known vote. If the states universal do no longer prefer a candidate, then why ought to they be elected? merely something to think of approximately.

By voting in a state whose governor isn't the president's brother.

That's pretty much it. I haven't seen so much corruption since Kennedy, sorry dems, but at least he was voted in, one way or the other, for the right reasons. And, he was taken out for doing his job. And, his job was gettting us, the poor bastards, more rights and more freedoms and more access to resources that would help us succeed.

I say, find the right people, get them in, get them protected, and get them out before someone can put a bullet through their heads.

That won't happen with a republican camp guys, even you reps know that.

Anyone got the stomache to field this issue? I mean, anyone who is anyone, who can speak from the soul of having been there?

These are all legitimate questions that have plagued our last two presidential elections. We could always call the UN to come and monitor our elections on the grounds that we suspect they are not on the up and up. It is important that we vote, especially in these times, or there will be no votes to count. Don't let your concerns stop you or anyone else from voting!

Did you miss your Prozac today? Go to your local courthouse and talk to the people on the election board. Volunteer as a monitor and stay there all night like they do to ensure the system works. Then follow along with them the next day as they transport the votes to the state capital. Otherwise shut your piehole and have faith in the system

you should have signed up to be an election judge, or work for a candidate as a poll watcher.
