Ok so im in AIT at the moment training to be a 42A. I joined the army national guard, and am thinking about going active. The prob is is I hate my MOS so far. The list of job options was short at the time and i figured it would be the best. I really wanted animal care specialist. Could I change my MOS if I went active? Would I lose my bonus? Honestly though I would rather have a job I liked.

Does the state choose the beneficiary? If there is no will...
I assume the parents would be the appointed beneficiaries, but am I wrong?
Could a brother, sister, aunt, uncle or non-relative slide in and get take advantage. Parents are getting older and wouldn't put up much of a fight due to lack of understanding and might think someone else would know best.

My friend and I are debating about the legal age of consent in New York State. I know it used to be 18, but then I remember reading something that said it was lowered to 17. I have also seen in tv shows like Law & Order where they say it is 17. He is insistant that it is 18, not 17. Which is it?

Currently, I am having trouble with a judicial assistant because apparently she is working with my opposing attorney. The are alot of pro-life and pro-choice disscussion going on today and i would like to have a clear understanding of both positions. Why would women advocate the killing of a child? Why is it even a discussion? I'm asking a valid question in hopes of learning the other side of the arguement. I know women who have had abortions and most refuse to talk about it the others have actually said to me "It's just my back up plan". i have herd many many things, and i am currently waiting to hear back from my grndfather abou tthe freemasons. i have heard that they are nothing but a "helping hand" so to speak that they just help others in need, and help eachother. i heard things about cults and the higher up worshiping the devil. i have also heard that they do not follow any religion, as well as they are a religion. i have been told that they are based on a "secret" whatever that may be. i have heard that they have a part in major religions and other cults, such as catholics and the LDS (mormons). i also heard that their teachings are by mouth only so things can change and that they teach things condradicting to the bible. i am not bashing and not condoning. i am simply asking cause im not real sure what to believe. i do believe there are cults that claim to be religious to save their name, and there are some organizations that are not cults but everyone seems to think they are... so help me out a bit here?

Why in the world is this not getting more attention? Our gov't can now arrest U.S citizens without a warrant and throw them in prison and not be allowed a trial. Our Constitution is hanging by a thread and something needs to be done about this.
