The first answerer just gave an accurate yet alerting answer. We made a deal with the Natives because we took over their country...so why might not fate pay us back with the illegals? Sure we can put up a fight, but do as you are going to receive.. is how karma goes.

Mexicans are adapting to the american life becuase they are coming to america to live the american dream of having a decent job and a house, Native people were here first and when everyone else got here instead of americans adapting to the natives and living in there lifestyle, they raped and killed them. Its two different situations. Americans came here to own everything! the land the people the new lifestyles.

Native Americans are citizens and are allowed to live however they choose. They may live on a reservation or they may chose to live in mainstream America.
Main stream America requires the use of the English language.
If Mexicans wish to live the way they have traditionally, using their native tongue and being greeted in their native tongue the most appropriate place for them would be where their language is commonplace- Mexico or here in American jails.
I am sure their country would welcome them back as long as they bring American money.
Native Americans do not request that main stream society cater to their needs-.as the Mexican population in America is doing today.
No other immigrant group in America past or present has wasted the governments time asking for criminal activities to be overlooked (ie; illegally immigrating), government forms to be changed or the National anthem to be changed to better suit their needs.
I am sick to death of people trying to justify creating an entirely new set of ideals for a group of people that are not supposed to even be here.

Are you not racist? Note the divison between Mexicans and Native Americans.Native Americans have adapted. They know English and their community's are self sufficent . Illegal Immigrants are out in mainstream America. Illegal Immigrants who don't learn English only hurt themselves. Honestly I don't care if they learn English. I only care that they come here in a legal fashion. How could you live on the edge like that anyways , always watching your back because you know you are doing something wrong?

Because racists are the lowest form of scum and you should know better than to listen to what they say. They leave the Native Americans alone because they were effectively slaughtered as a race and stripped of their culture in the settlement of the country.
My mother and father are from Italy. When they came here they spoke only Italian. Now my brothers, sisters, and I speak English, live as Americans and still hold our Italian heritage with pride.
Whether anyone likes it or not, the children of immigrants WILL learn English and WILL assimilate into American society.

Weak argument. The reservations were established to give the indians a place to live their own way. Mexicans have that, too, it's called 'Mexico'.
If you ever want to start learning, look up the history of Mexico. It's pretty easy to find resources on the web. In these resources, you'll learn that Mexico City was occupied several times, once even by FRANCE. Maybe, if Mexico can't get it's act together, we should CALL france and have them come fix it...
Build that fence faster, taller, and higher and longer...support the US Border Patrol!

The Native Americans are Just that NATIVE. The government gives them Money and Reservations because the Government feels bad about what they did to them.
MEXICANS want to come to America Illegaly and then want to be given rights and federal aid. If you are so DAMN proud of your Mexican culture then stay in ******* Mexico.

adapt how? By speaking English, I know that is one of the major concerns of many who are against Mexicans...it doesn't bother me...I think maybe I should learn Spanish. but the argument there would be that all native americans speak english

Because Native Americans wanted the Reservations, seperate lives, and didn't want to join in the American Way. If the mexicans don't ship them home.

Because they feel guilty. Just look at how they treated the poor Native Americans long ago. They took their land,relocated them against their will,killed the buffalo, gave them strange diseases,gave them whiskey, nasty food, etc. This country belongs to the Native Americans.
