These are not my statements. These are statements made by illegal's on yahoo.Answers. I'm agains Illegal imigration and am proud of my heritage. I say deport them all and to the ones who say I need to be sent back to my country I say this, I am an american Indian decendant so this is my Land. Illegal immigration is destroying this country. The reason all the details prior to this looked like jiberish is because that was how the people I got these statements from said them.

You can group all illegal's together because they are all breaking our laws that have been on the books longer than you or I have been alive. We are just wanting them to enforce these laws. And I am not talking about just hispanic illegals. All illegals should be deported. I don't care what race or color you are go home if you are illegal.

Why do people keep talking about compasion for the criminals coming over here? These same people wouldn't show any compasion to me. I'm a disabled veteran and can't even pay my own bills. I don't qualify for foodstamps, welfare, or medicaid. I've got 2 kids, why should I worry about paying for them to eat when the only reason my kids are eating is because I know how to hunt and plant a garden? Why did my child get turned down for headstart just because illegals kids had taken all the slots. They said they needed to learn english but should that mean my child gets left behind. I want a better life for my kids and don't want to be forced to give a better life to illegals coming into this country just because there country sucks. My compasion is gone after no one cares enough about our own citizens to insist we get benifits first. My power was cut off a week ago but if it wasn't for family I'de be living in the dark. This is my neighbors computer hell I can't even afford one.

You cannot simply group all illegals together and deal with them as just a bunch of numbers. How do you even know if those numbers are correct? They are not documented, so it is hard to track them, so it is all estimation. Some of these illegal immigrants were taken over by their parents years ago and do not even have any experience living in Mexico. There are many citizens that are screwed up, why don't we deport them? Because they have a stupid paper that says they are Americans? There are hard working illegals too. In America we pride ourselves on the success we have and the relative stability of our lives. They don't have that in whatever country they come from, unless you count the 1 MILLION Canadian illegals in our country. They are ok to us because they are white. We have the opinion they can't cause any trouble because they are white. We are building a border fence across 700 miles of desert in Mexico to keep terrorists from getting in. Why would a terrorist try to cross that desert and fence when they could take an easy trip from Canada.

This is a complex issue, don't just try to make a decision on numbers. Should we deny them a place to live and food to eat because they lack a piece of paper? Until you come up with a solution you shouldn't complain about this. Just be thankful that you were born here and have such an easy life you can afford to sit here and talk on your computer. These people don't. You cannot empathize with them and neither can I, but they at least deserve some respect and dignity, because they are human too.

Actually, america can get along JUST fine without illegal immigrants, and Mexico's a sad, sad spectacle, these days, trying to beg, borrow, steal, and argue their way into the United States. Mexico needs the United States more than the United States needs Mexico, sorry...if it wasn't for the US, Mexico's economy would fold up like a cheap kite in a strong wind. Just admit you're racist and ignorant, get over yourself, and take some night school or something...the United States has a long and distinguished history of being better to immigrants, LEGAL immigrants, than just about any other country you could name. And, let's not forget ALL the foreign aid we've sent around the world. While we're ON that subject, when o WHEN was Mexico ever going to get around to paying THAT back, or are they going to default, a-GAIN? LOL

I'm all for that border fence, I think it's a GREAT idea, give people something to look at, and think about, give the Border Patrol a way to finally be able to do the hard job they've been assigned, and it'll help slow down the 5,000 a DAY influx of people...

Mexico needs to emulate what we've done, what we've accomplished, rather than trying to ride our coat-tails or just trying to move in en masse to relieve their economic problems. That 'easy out' has enabled them to hide from reality much, MUCH longer than could be even remotely concieved as anything resembling healthy. And, americans need to wake up and carefully start reading statements such as yours.

America was built on the sweat and hard work of immigrants whether they came from Ireland, Italy, Poland, or wherever. You have an extremely poor grasp of American history. All groups that immigrated to America were discriminated against at the time. I suggest you watch the movie "The Gangs of New York" to see how the Irish were treated. Last I knew the Irish were white. Unfortunately you are a moron and are making judgements against 300 million people which can never be done. Mexican people should be welcomed to the US just like everyone else. Breaking laws does not make a people noble or good it makes them criminals. there is a perfectly good way to immigrate to the US.

My opinion is that all illegal immigrants should be given amnesty and become naturalized citizens. They would then have the full protection of the law, enjoy the rights of all Americans and can pay taxes to support the programs that would help them.

It's too bad that people like you are given a voice, but as it says in the great American Constitution we have freedom of speech. the fact that police are not at your door just shows this to be true.

I' am a American and very proud of my heritage, and my country. Apparently you are confused, you seem to think we are acting aggressive towards you in some way, when in reality it is you that are the aggressor. You are coming into this great nation illegally, and now you fear deportation, so yet aging you lash out against America.

Only you can shape your destiney, the American people can not do it for you, return home and make a difference, or come to America legally and be one of us.

I think America's doors should be closed for awhile. I think that the Chinese and Japanese immigrants are the biggest threat to us Americans. They are the ones taking our jobs. I am not going to build a highway or a roof but I may work in an office. I don't care about the race of an immigrant.
