If I made an outlandish statement like that republicans would be justified in insisting that I back it up with proof. Why then is it acceptable for some republican to accuse democrats of equally outlandish things but they don't feel the need to offer evidence what so ever? There are democrats who do the same thing.

Some examples.

Iraqis call for five-man junta to end the anarchy
Marie Colvin

IRAQ’S fragile democracy, weakened by mounting chaos and a rapidly rising death toll, is being challenged by calls for the formation of a hardline “government of national salvation”.
The proposal, which is being widely discussed in political and intelligence circles in Baghdad, is to replace the Shi’ite-led government of Nouri al-Maliki, the prime minister, with a regime capable of imposing order and confronting the sectarian militias leading the country to the brink of civil war.
..Last week Iraqi officials estimated that up to 100 people, mostly civilians, were being murdered every day.
Any suspension of the democratic process would be regarded as a severe blow to American and British policy.

to any of you that you didn't get to make that choice? SO if the person was pre picked from within a closed group, just how do you think that group will ever do what is best for us, when you realize in front you where left out of the person picking, many things that are failing in this country are due to the people running it, because they have no feel for what is really going on at the level of the average human, small and un-IMPORTANT factor, the much larger scope of money and profit and how to tax and the corp world are of the main focus, so tell me please as this never ending cycle contenues, how will things ever go in favor of the working class of people, that in the start of this nation they are who really made this nation what it was, how will the political grip on this country ever be broken, and the country be returnd to the people who live in it, you can't prove to vote will change any thing for us or our kid's can you? has it ever changed?? tell us what you think.

The integration into our society by immigrants is becoming more and more difficult because the responsibility for this is being placed with the indigenous population. This is grossly unfair as integration is only successful if both sections of society make an effort. Many immigrants are employed in British owned companies and organisations, but how many Brits are employed by Immigrant Asian or Muslim owned organisations? There was never a law to restrict the habitat or immigrants so why do they all hone in on the same districts of our cities when they could live anywhere and integrate. Britain is their host country, their new homeland and they should demonstrate loyalty in every respect. 'Home Grown' terrorists with strong anti-British beliefs should be reported to the law by their own people if persuasion within their own community fails. Representatives of all religions and races were killed in the London bombings - was that a good example of integration into UK Society?

The problem lies with my neighbour who has constantly complained about me to my manager, and called the police one time who issued me a $200 fine for a "city noise bylaw" It all has to do with my "special needs" grandson who lives with me. I have been accused of playing loud music during the night which was not true, it was coming from another apartment. She also claimed that she could hear loud noises coming from his bedroom even during the day. Most of these times, he was not even home, sometimes away camping for several days, and she still complained. I was not home most of those times either as I volunteer a lot. She wears two hearing aids, and takes them out when she goes to bed, so I don't know how she can hear anything.
I am being forced out of my apartment because of her, having to endure a great deal of expense in the moving process. You might want to note, that she done the same thing to the tenant beneath her for over two months, and finally got that woman evicted.

My wife has been paying property taxes on a parcel of land owned by a long-deceased friend of her parents; she has paid them for about 12 years, and her mom paid them for maybe 25 years before that. My wife is listed as a co-owner on the tax bill. Someone has contacted her wanting to buy the lot (found her name on the county website). She does not have the deed, but I assume she can get a replacment. Can she legally sell the lot?

Two American cruise ship passengers found themselves travelling to Westgate instead of New York – after being jailed for attacking a fellow tourist.
Michael Donovan and Joseph Pontieri looked dismayed as Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner said visiting guests and victims should be treated the same as locals and jailed them for 90 days each in Her Majesty’s Westgate Correctional Facility.
Mr. Warner added: “If these two guests were at a club and two local boys had jumped on them and assaulted them, it’s no difference whatsoever!”
After the court hearing, their lawyer, Llewellyn Peniston later branded the sentence “extraordinary” and said he would appeal. Donovan, 34, and Pontieri, 29, pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm to Christopher Emanuel, 38, in an attack on Front Street, Hamilton, on Thursday.
Crown counsel Cindy Clarke told Magistrates’ Court the victim, a US citizen, had arrived in Bermuda on the Norwegian Crown cruise ship, along with the two defe

I am a 31 year old mom of 3 and I'm married. I obviously keep making mistakes. I was put on probation 3 yrs. ago, and just violated it for the 2nd time, with a new charge. I know what I'm looking at. But, I don't know what I should do. Should I run? Should I hire the best damn attorney and fight? Should I just lay down, plea guilty and take the punishment or what? Does anyone have serious suggestions on what I should do? Or has anyone been in the same bind?
