I don't know if I would call it a war but I sure think it is being destroyed. Job outsourcing is part of the problem. The gap between rich and poor keeps increasing. Tax breaks go to the wealthy and the corporations. This nation was built by and predicated on the middle class. I also don't know what can be done about it, vote and let your representatives know what you want.
I saw Lou Dobbs on tv and he has written a new book on this very topic. He stated he is surprised that there has not been a revolt and scary as that thought is I agree that might be the only answer.

Maybe not a war, but it sure is getting more difficult to make ends meet. If you are lucky enough to get a raise on your job, the various cost of being a productive, contributing citizen go up proportionately. And they say inflation is very low or almost non existant, bull crap.
What can we do about it? Nothing. Except become more frugal, cut down on the nice to have things, and save for our old age. Don't depend on social security, it wont be there. For those people in their forties, be prepared to work until you die on the job. Or, go into business for yourself and sock the money away.
The american middle class is dead. 6 out of ten working americans are basically a paycheck away from being broke and out on the streets. In a few years, there will only be the elite rich, and the poor, no middle.

Its not an 'undeclared war'. The Democrats stated policies are a declaration of war against the entire economy.

If the war is undeclared is it really a war?

The only thing to do in this situation is to no longer be 'middle class'.

Yes, both socially and economically.
I think Americans need to take back the power of the government, not the other way around. The government is supposed to belong to the people, remember?

This administration has forgotten what the flag and the meaning of democracy is. What it ISN'T according to Franklin D. Roosevelt, is tyranny, subjection, ruling by the financial elite, and mob rule.

Altho it goes against the grain for most middle-class Americans I think maybe "taking to the streets" is the only way.... it seems to be working for the illegals - both parties are pro illegals!
