That our nation could get over itself and really start helping the world

We've given our people too many toys like super TV, personal telephones, fast autos, lots of money and others. The result ,we may have driven ourselves back to childhood.

We can now talk to each other, even if the other is on the other side of the country, we are seeing things as they happen not a day old and we may be seeing too much.

Our youngsters act like they would think nothing of shooting any person who happens to get in front of them, especially in schools,

Our young women are too eager to try sex, and with anyone who has been photographed many times and there-by becomes a "celebrity"

Our young men want fun and more fun and still more fun and they want "excitement" whatever that means--and they are headed for an early death because of it.

Our national leaders are way off track in everything they do. Our Congress seems to be full of idiots and they are playing with our money, and they are screwing up our futures.

Now you ask, "What do you want?" and my answer is,"Let's cut the crap and get back to a sensible life. Let's get rid of the Congressional idiots, we need a drastic change there, not just a minor adjustment."

A Magnificent country, with beautiful beaches, grand mountains and lush meadows...and to think it is being governed by goof-balls.

We need a change!

I agree with delme d, we have the best country in the world and the best constitution, there for we should demand that we have the best statesmen to run it, and that damned sure is not professional politicians who were born with a silver spoon in their mouth, and have never did a decent days work in their lives, How can you expect some rich thug to know the needs and desires of some one who works for a living? how can you expect some one to run the country when they have never held a job, or been in business or any thing else where management is required?running the country is a big business, and should be ran as such
yet our people keep electing rich play boys or lawyers to these positions, doe's any one out there know of a lawyer who has ran a successful business? they are notably not good business men. as it is easy come easy go for them,

The US, as the dominant country, needs to lead by example. We are in a position to do a lot of good, yet we've been wasting this opportunity. The two-party system should be abolished, along with the mindset that third-parties could never acheive anything. For sure, a left-wing party needs to be added. I'm hesitant to say this, but as far as political systems go, the US needs to be more like Canada.

Less complaining about how "Stupid" our politcs and leaders are and more action. I'm a republican and overall suportive of the current presidential admistration (Bush... dun dun). However, regardless of my political standings I am a very active person. I believe everyone should be if they attempt to complain or criticize those who lead us. It is our RIGHT to criticize and complain, but complaining to people on the internet, or your sibling, or your friends does NOT get you anywhere. You merely become no better than what you complain about: The "stupid" population who supports our president and ignores the real issues that exist here and now.

That the myth about the Republican Party is better than the Democratic Party. Nothing has been so clear in politics, than what this current Bush administration has done to make that more noticeable. Bush and his cronies have shown why the Republican Party does not represent all Americans and actually thrives on big business and wealthy contributors.

Disablement of the two career parties and an election of only term elected officials to represent the states with a president, that is responsible and answerable to the public, instead of two parties that are far away from their civic duties and spare no change in their obsession in control of the house and senate, even if it means compromising the interest of the nation and the middle class, but if the public and "We the people " are not involved ,the loss of our birthright and the shame of the world is imminent, since so many follow our example.

More interest in the people of this country (see Free Health care for all, as well as schooling-college-etc) as is common place in other industrialized countries across the globe.

Just a start--
