I was a Social Studies teacher. Talk to your teacher and see if you can make up your missed assignments. Tell him/her that you want to raise your grade, and ask if there are extra credit projects you can do. Make sure your attendance is excellent, you are trying to participate in class, and you do your homework/classwork the best that you can. You can do it! :)

You need to talk to the teacher to find out exactly why you have a C. From what little you tell, it sounds as if the two assignments you missed were worth a larger percentage of your grade than the tests. Again, you need to verify it with your teacher. Also, you need to ask if your teacher counts class participation?

Just for your information, in College the professors usually give you a syllabus that tells you what percentage of your grade is based on assignments, participation, and tests. You may ask you teacher if he/she could provide that for your class.

Its not only two assigments... **shouldn't have any assignments** that haven't been handed in.... your grade reflects the commitment of you personaly to your teacher. Your help will not come from anyone only from you. Tell the teacher that you will do the assignments if he or she lets you. Study your keaster off. because you deserve the C or less. Your assignments are A towards your commitment to your class. The teacher sees u don't care so hence, the C.............. Study and show your teacher u care. good luck ........... its on your shoulders as to what your grade will be. To study or not to study......**fairness**

we have 6th graders on here? Jeez..... First off, log off this site and try opening a book. Obviously assignments count, just as much as the tests. So the only thing that is wrong is you're not doing your assignments. Don't look to us, look in the mirror for your solution.

Shut off the computer, and read the textbook.

Complete all assignments, and turn them in on time.

Yes, it really is that simple.

Sorry if you do not like my answer, but it will get you better grades.

Ask your teacher how she grades and if something is wrong. Sometimes the grades are weighted or the teacher includes citizenship with your grade.

Just ask your teacher.
