Hey, once upon a time Ancient Nubian's called their king the Ngr
( enger ). The Romans, learning of the word; then referred to the region of the king as Niger ( added vowels ). Then early American colonialist with limited reading skills pronounced the word Niger with a hard G sound and thus the slur N-I-G-G....well you know the rest. My point is that any word, no matter how originally beautiful; can be turned into a slur.

A lot of words can be used like that, but they don't become a slur.
You can call a guy a little girl and mean it nastilly or you can say it to a 7 year old girl and mean it nicely.
Any word can be used offensively depending on how it's said and who it's said to.

It started in the late 1940s when the Democrats cuddled up with Soviet spy Alger Hiss. They refused, even in the light of all evidence, to admit publicly that he was a spy, and allowed him access to the highest levels of government. The Democrats have been viewed with distrust by true patriots ever since, and their activities, from favoritism toward Socialist & Communist governing styles to overt support of enemy governments & combatants over our own government & troops, has done little to dissuade anyone from that point of view.

It started in 1979, Ronald Reagan said in a speech that Liberal was a 4 letter word, it has snow balled from that to include anything that might be good for the country. If you oppose a repuglican for any reason your character is always assassinated it is a part of their game plan.

If you spend enough money and effort (as conservatives do), you will succeed in making the bulk of Americans (who are utterly clueless about politics and it's relation to economics, human rights and so on) believe anything.
Liberal is a bad word in the same way that McDonalds is a popular eatery; there is nothing more to the bulk of it than mindless repetitive advertising.

Since they and the Republicans started looking to keep their little oligarchy in place. Both "Democrat" and "Republican" are epithets/slurs to me.

Since the Democrats ran out of viable candidates and began pushing policy that was purely reactive to Republican policy. The drift from centerline and negative reactivity made the Democratic party line impertinent.

One half brain on radio has been working for this result over 16 years. First head him when Clinton won first term. He still must be on, because his demise would be big new, never listen. In past would listen to see what products NOT TO BUY!
