Welsh properties have been revalued for Council Tax purposes. This has hit State Pensioners in Wales whose State Pensions have remained equal to those paid to pensioners in the rest of the UK where properties have not been revalued. On top of the higher bandings and resulting massive increase in their income for Welsh Councils they still found it necessary to increase Council Tax bills, whilst cutting services. This doesn't stack up!

Just the mere fact that I have *asked* questions that relate to illegal immigration, the war in iraq, or virtually any other political issue, the majority of people's first response to me is to SHUT UP.

Why do people view these issues as settled, not up for debate, or even elligible for further discussion? Don't the solutions exist in our conversations? Isn't Yahoo! Answers! the perfect forum for such discussions?

All the people prattling for diversity in colleges, work places, and schools. Haven't you guys realized that its the White race that has all the diversity? We have the most diverse looks, and the most diverse cultures.

Blacks all have black hair and brown eyes, same hair texture
Asians all have black hair and brown eyes, same hair texture
Hispanics all have brown/black hair and brown eyes.
Whites can have black, brown, blonde, and even red hair, and sometimes a hair color in between two hair colors. And whites can have blue, green, or brown eyes.

So, who really are the "people of color"? Those other races look like they came straight out of black and white movies.

I got arrested at the A's game for being drunk in Public. I live in California. They held me and let me go with a court date. I'm only 18 so what can i expect as far as a punishment goes. The officer (which seemed to lie alot) said they would most likely drop the charges. What are all the consequences i can face? I don't really care to fight it just want to know what will happen.

So to sum it up, Baseball game, Drunk, Arrested, 18.

As a matter of fact the first ones "here" in the Americas were the Solutreans. The Solutreans were European. So can we get over the topic of "stolen land" please and focus on the fact that it is 2006 and immigration laws are being broken? Also...no offense...but "Native Americans" have been pulling the wool over everyones eyes with the "we were here first" bull.

Recently, There is a lot of fear in the western media from Islam. Islam is increasinly being associated with terrorism and fanatism. Do you think the real problem is the Islamic religion or some indivisuals who are abusing Islam?
