Each state has its own rules as to disposal.

In general they have to be buried. Some have thier own land to do it in, Others use a landfill

actually, i JUST WATCHED THAT PROGRAM CALLED "DIRTY JOB" ON t.v. NOT LONG AGO AND ONE OF THE JOBS WAS THE ROAD DEAD ANIMAL PICK UP PERSON. Apparently they send the carcases to this dump that grinds it up and turns it into plant mulch, potting soil, etc. Now I will think of that every time I use it to plant a plant.

Most are bagged, dosed with quick lime and sent to a landfill.

I think they take those dead animals and give them to Peta and other Animal Rights groups.
They then take the dead animals to bed with them.
What then, I don't want to know.

They grind them up and make (real)dog food out of it.Oh....and they send the meat to the children over seas.

They eat as much as they can, then they feed the rest to the homeless. Quite a nobel charity.
