It may be a tired question but the Labour Party new or old is tearing itself apart everyone jostling for position , no way to run a country if this is not soon resolved then the infighting will go on long after Blair I have been a trade unionist and a Labour supporter all of my working life this is neither good for the party or the country

Cajun Bill (above) hit the nail on the head by saying he rates Blair "up there with Maggie Thatcher".
In order to gain power, in the mid nineties the labour party leadership turned the party into a milder version of the Conservative Party. Rather than revert back to traditional Labour Party values, this leadership has continued the metamorphosis and now they are more Tory than the tories. I've been dismayed for the past nine years.

He should go along with the rest of the Labour party, the country has gone down big time since they came to power.

Tired, tired question. Is that the best you can do? Blair has said he is going in the next year, and he should arrange the transition to a new PM to cause the minimum disruption to government.

He should wait util a successor is in place and the time is right.

i think tony blair started to ruin the country when he took charge

look how much tax on fuel, cigs and booze has gone up since he's been in power and look how little wages have gone up

most people cant afford to get on the property ladder these days

all this tax he's getting and wasting on things that we dont see an improvment on like the NHS

My God are you still a labour supporter, can you not see what has been done to lovely country. Come on give UKIP a chance or even the BNP( though they are a bit extreme).

Is this the Blair Witch Party?

2006-10-12 20:11:23 · answer #7 · answered by Anonymous · 1 0

Why? I rate him up there with Margaret Thatcher. They are the only Brits with any well you know what I mean.

Watch what happens to England once he is gone. Their taxes will skyrocket even higher than they already are. There will be more unemployment and government interference. They will no longer be the great nation they are and they will no longer be an allie for truth and freedom thus inviting terrorists into a safe haven. Actually they will turn into France.
