They may, but when you become an American citizen you swear an oath to forgo any foreign princes, which could cause issues on Mexico's side. The US disfavors dual citizenship - whose side do you fight on in case of war?- but we don't totally disallow it.

Some do and some dont... I do... I became a US citizen when I was 6 years old.. and as soon as I turned 18 I went to Mexico and got my dual citizenship.

Not automatically. They have to request dual citizenship from Mexico.

Ron M, actually America does recognize it. It is just prefered that you didn't for loyalty reasons.
