right now im 15, and i want to join the Military when i turn 18, but the problem is i will still have 1 more year in HS left b/c i got held back when i was in elementary schoo....can i join when i turn 18 or do i have to wait? i would like to join the Army Reserves, but what other reserves are there?? thanks!!

I would like to apply for a government job, but I've had a police report filed on me a few months ago because of a misunderstanding I've made, mistaking a laptop that was mine but ended up it was not and I tried to take it. I cleared it up with the guy but the scene was big that the police came and took down my name and information for a police report. I was not convicted or pressed charges since it was a misunderstanding. Please refer to an older question I asked before for more information about the case if you like. My main question is, Will the US government be able to see this police report from a background check? Thanks.

It is common knowledge that the network news are biased in favor of ALL liberal agendas, yet dem supporters keep crying that there is a conservative bias.

Are these supporters lying, have they succumbed to the propaganda or are they trying to divert the truth as usual?

Have any of them read this university study? Why would they lie?

My husband at least I hope my husband signed my name on the marriage license because the court house was about to close I forgot to sign it and it was the last day to turn it in so he just signed it for me. This really bothers me because of course I want my signature on my marriage license but putting my emotions aside is our marriage even legal also what problems could this bring about?

in the early 1970's the french connection had picture interest in heroin and was selling it for $30 a bag, in those days it was only about 5% pure drug. that's like buying a box of donuts only to open the box and find half a donut. today heroin is available in every city of the US and cost $4 per bag and it's 80%-90% pure. now, using the donut analogy the same amount of money theoretically buys you about 30 full boxes of donuts. that's 600 times cheaper than before the war on drugs.

heroin is cheaper than a six-pack and easier for kids to get (drug dealers don't check ID)

and see that leglal Mexicans have a almost 50% highschool drop-out rate. and illegal Mexicans even more. Not the mention the fact that Americans were paying for that wasted education and not the shameless illegals. If you are such hard workers don't you think that finishing school would be a priority.....well a lot of them have a kid before they graduate too.....you should be proud of that

A person where I work was told at the immigration office, she could wait until the day her work permit ran out to get a new one. She agreed she'd come in that day (in November) to renew. Now she has to go on a business trip and can't. She tried to renew her work permit quickly (which they said she could do earlier), and she was told the rules changed in September and it would take a long time. She doesn't have a long time! She did all the right things, and now finds herself just a month away from no work permit. Is there someone to contact for such things? She is a great worker, a scientist in a "green" company.

My mom was born and raised in Scotland and still maintains her Scottish Citzenship (she does not have an American Passport). I was born August 26 1982 in the US, and I have read that I cannot become a UK citizen because it cannot be passed through my mother since I was born before 1983. Is there anything I can do?

Note: I have read somewhere that I may be able to still get dual citizenship, but I have not been able to find that information again.
