I think he's a good president. People seem to forget that he's not to blame for everything that goes wrong in this country. He has to battle Congress too. Health care reform, social security benefits, trade and all that, have to go through Congress. The president only gets final say if it makes it to him. He hasn't lied. He had intelligence reports and documents that Congress saw as well. Congress agreed to go to war. Now, Bush is standing his ground as he should. I don't think he's the best president by any means, but he's not all bad. I think there's enough blame to go around for everyone, not just him.

I think he is one of America's all time greatest presidents. He has exhibited great leadership and stability during some of the most trying times America has faced and been strong and determined. A man of conviction, not tossed to and fro by changing winds (polls), not influence by international opinion, but is guided by what he truly believes. If a man is not making his decisions by what he believes, then does he truly believe what he espouses?
George W. Bush has been the most trustworthy and honest leader. He understands that his first duty is to protect and defend this nation and its people. And for that I will always admire and respect him. If I could vote for him a third time I would.
One last thing. I have enormous respect for the person, no matter who he(she) is that, when they are reviled and lied on, does not revile back. Now THAT is character! And that has been our president!

His election proves Ben Franklin's feeling that:

"He best argument against democracy is a conversation with the average voter."

Actually, I've been told by an official in the U.S. Government that it is not acceptable for me to think.

I never voted for him and am still shocked he won this last election. After everything he has done to our country, I can't believe no one has talked about impeaching his sorry but.. we put Clinton through the impeachment process for getting a little on the side - lying to the public about his "relations" with that woman... and Bush out right lied about the WMDs and started a whole war, brought down our economy, it's going to take years to fix the problems he has caused and he's still there. I do not understand it and probably never will

If I told you what I really think of Bush, I would have my Yahoo Answers account terminated.

That should give you an idea of what I think of Bush.

Do you libs know that when you type in a question it will show related questions? This has been asked about 1,000,000 times so far. To answer your Bush bashing question, I think he's a great president who had to deal with eight years of a do nothing scumbag, Bill Clinton. He was also dealt with the worst attack on U.S. soil and he's trying his best to protect the american people.

I would like to see him bungie jump off of moving train. Or a 1000 foot cliff with 2000 feet of bungie. Other then that I try not to think about him.

He is a good president and he is misunderstood. 5 years from now we are going to wish we had someone like him in power. If we hand this country over to the Democrats we would cease to be such a strong nation.
