My husband at least I hope my husband signed my name on the marriage license because the court house was about to close I forgot to sign it and it was the last day to turn it in so he just signed it for me. This really bothers me because of course I want my signature on my marriage license but putting my emotions aside is our marriage even legal also what problems could this bring about?

Don't worry, be Happy, no one will ever know, and really could care less unless you yourself make it an issue and then you also have a legal problem. Because you swore under oath, so rest easy and forget it!

Seems you have a two-fold issue here. As far as the courts are concerned you are married in full. They assume that the license was signed willingly by both parties and because you have not raised the forgery as an issue, the state would never know otherwise.

The only issues I can think of is if you were to seperate (sorry, just playing devils advocate here) and at some point in the nasty divorce proceedings the issue of the marriage license was raised.

But to be really pedantic I think technically, you are NOT married simply because YOU did not sign the license. However, I also think that marriage is a state of mind and not necessarily a piece of paper. So keep on loving and treating each other right!!!

It is legal to sign someone elses name with their permission, so unless you didn't want your name signed on the marriage license stop worrying about it... nobody cares. They don't have people sitting around in a room at the court house checkign signatures to see if the people getting married are being forced into it.

It seems to me that you may be having second thoughts or thinking about divorce..But yes you are legally married if you consented to the signature.Call a Lawyer if you are uncertain..Good luck.

Usually if you consented to it ,it's legal. You were both re missed in waiting till the last second. And you did forget to sign it.
What other choice did he have?
