Knowing that Bush did the wrong thing invading Iraq, will the latest news from North Korea help end the impossible-to-end "War on Terror"?

The U.S. is now not the only big threat of violence on the block.

U.S. police arrested an 83-year-old woman on suspicion of entering California from Mexico with 10 pounds (4.5 kg) of methamphetamine strapped to her body, officials said on Thursday.

The woman, who is a U.S. citizen, and two Mexican nationals were arrested in San Ysidro, California, on Monday as they drove north from Tijuana, Mexico.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection spokeswoman Angelica De Cima said officers at a U.S. border crossing stopped their car and found the drugs strapped to the body of the retiree and a 40-year-old Mexican woman.

Both women were passengers in the vehicle driven by a 22-year-old Mexican man.

"It's very unusual for us to arrest such an elderly smuggler, but it's not unique," De Cima told Reuters by telephone. "We are catching more drugs at the port and so the Mexican cartels are using more creative techniques to try and get away with it."

San Ysidro, located a few miles (km) south of San Diego, is a key transit point used by Mexican drug cartels to smuggle cocaine, heroin and methamphetamine to U.S. markets.

Methamphetamine, a synthetic stimulant, is prepared in so-called "super labs" in Tijuana and shipped north to market in California, where the chemicals used to make it are more strictly controlled.

De Cima said seizures of methamphetamine, cocaine and heroin had jumped by at least 25 percent at the San Ysidro crossing in the last 12 months.

By Illinois state law (Municipal Code, Title 5, Chapter 12, Residential Landlord and Housing Ordinance, 5-12-080), landlords are required to pay back a tenant's security deposit within 45 days after the termination of the lease period (07/30/2006), "If the landlord fails to comply with any provision of Section 5-12-080 (a)-(e), the tenant shall be awarded damages in the amount equal to two times the security deposit plus interest rate..." Should I sue for this amount? She says she will pay me back $415 (security deposit amount) minus $200 (some late fees since I misunderstood payment date information). I think it's ironic that I'm being charged late fees for 3 days of tardiness when the landlord is over a month late with hers security deposit! Please help...again should I sue? If so, how should I go about this and for what amount? Twice? Are the late fees to be considered? Thank you so much!

Also, does this relate to the absurd character smearing that Carl Rove, with Dubya's smirky approval, gave to him in South Carolina in 2000?

Talk about grasping at straws, libbers. Terrorists in Iran, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Palestine, Israel, Indonesia, Turkey, Afghanistan, Pakistan, South Florida but NONE IN IRAQ UNDER SADDAM.

I think the libs have cracked up for sometime now. Funny how Saddam openly admitted giving money to fund suicide bombers.
