It depends on where the house was located.

Bush has said on several occasions "My job is to protect America" Ok OK I know that is not what the Constitution says his job is; but that is what Bush claims is his job and what he is doing.

So if the liberals house was out side the territorial United States it would not be Bushes fault.

If the House was inside the United States it would be his fault.

If the house was lets say the penthouse residence in the World Trade Center. And Bush was in Texas cutting weeds on his Ranch or Reading My Pet Goat It creates a controversy.

Go big Red Go

You are correct. Bush will get blamed for everything. There are no limits to what the Bush haters will blame on Bush including Katrina - the hurricane itself, not just the response, blowing up the levees, causing 9/11, the economic slowdown that began even before he took office, N. Korea developing nuclear weapons during the Clinton years, etc.

If an asteroid smacked into the planet with huge devasation, Bush would get blamed for aiming the asteroid at us.

Bush Derangement Syndrome (BDS for short), knows no bounds.

Yes, because it is his responsibility as President of the United States to "Protect the American People." I have heard him say it about 500 times in speeches.

Something gets blown up, Bush dropped the ball.
