Knowing that Bush did the wrong thing invading Iraq, will the latest news from North Korea help end the impossible-to-end "War on Terror"?

The U.S. is now not the only big threat of violence on the block.

Well North Korea is certainly showing Bush's war on terror for what it is - a lie to steal lots of oil.

I mean, if North Korea isn't a terrorist state then where the hell is? Is he interested in doing anything about it? Bush and co would probably leave it to the UN even if North Korea started blasting nukes at the US as long as it only hit places full of America's 2nd class citizens like New Orleans.

Hopefully this will be a wake up call for the US if the media over there doesn't just censor it all out.

It definately won't end anything.

Is your line of thinking this?:

"Well now N. Korea is testing nukes and making themselves aggressive in the world view, maybe the extermists will see America isn't the only one aggressive one, and completely abandon their violent belief system?"

Definately not.
It changes nothing for extermists and militants. If anything, gives them somewhere to try to buy a bomb from. It increases over all world tensions, particularly in asia. Which won't be a good thing for anyone.

It just seems to me, now that the U.S. is engaged in this conflict, which is obviously not going well at all, countries like Iran and N. Korea start getting arrogant because they think the U.S. and the U.N. are too tied up in Iraq issues to face off with them.

----------------

The guy above me doesn't make any sense. N. Korea doesn't have any grounds for believing the U.S. is interested in invading them. Unless this is a diversion to distract us from some other nasty thing they're doing.

N. Korea, imho, is trying to protect itself from American invasion. They are afraid! So far, the only way they think they may stop Americans is to build up a big nuke that may strike US.
American invasions in others countries give bad example. Look, nowdays other "weaker" countries try to enchance their military.... Their are afraid of seeing American GI's near their shores. More and more people start hating Americans.... even in Europe.... It is sad.

The only way the war on terror will ever end is when one side nukes the other into oblivion.

It's NOT about a "war on terror" or "fighting for freedoms". It's REALLY all about THIS!...
