Liberals of the past fought for,
The freeing of slaves
Rights for women
Rights for workers
Freedom of religion

Liberals today fight for,
Abortion
Gayness for all, (Not just equality for gays but homosexuality as an alternative to "traditional" heterosexuality)
The destruction of religion (Except for Islam whom the liberals are terrified of)
Welfare for able bodied people

Seriously, stop equating yourself with the brave citizens of the past. In the future no one is going to bring up your accomplishments of today and say, "Those brave citizens of the early 2000's, why Billy, if it were not for them, abortions would not be available at every gas station."

What a legacy to have.

Why is it that most people categorize themselves as left wing or right wing, can't someone say, believe in gun control (leftish) and at the same time oppose gay marrige(righty), why do they have to take the 'left' and 'rights' beliefs in their entirety

million over 5 years? Did you see that she is trying to put this in the border fence bill?

This isn't so much 'amnesty for those here' because as agriculture will be the first to say, once they are 'here' they go to more stable jobs. This is to draw new people who after 3 years of work would get residency, to themselves move on to other jobs. Our schools and services are part of their employment package - since the agriculture jobs are only seasonal and don't in themselves require more than seasonal workers.

I think they should make seasonal work easier but NOT increase future immitration at least until we can manage the flow of illegal immigration. This is exactly what I was concerned about months ago, that they would give 'some' border security then open a future immigration program, while those illegally here are still..... illegally here.

This doesn't solve any existing immigration problems, it just causes a worse problem in my opinion.

Im in High School, Ive wanted to enlist as Aerial Gunner in the AF for the past couple years..Thats what I really want to do..But untill now I didnt really think about what to do AFTER the AF..I want to go 20 years, retire..You know, make an actual career and retire from the AF..But after that 20 years, or if I get out before then..What kind of Job could I do?..Also what are the promotion rates of the AF?..I know the Marines and the Army..but not the AF..

I have an exclusion order placed against me from entering Canada, which has separated me from my wife and 2 young children who live there so I'm desperately trying to get back up there to be with them. They live in BC so I'm wondering where the best place would be in Washington that I'd be able to sneak across the border. Don't give me that it's illegal crap, I all ready know.

There really does not seem to be any way to make them happy. They remind me of children who fight their parent's authority even if doing so is contrary to their best interests. So if we want to beat them all we have to do is act like we agree with them. Remember how disgusted you were if you heard your mother or father listening to a song that you felt belonged to your generation? You might even stop listening to the music when you find out your "lame" parents like the same stuff. So if we act like we support abortion I bet all of the liberals will become pro-life. This is classic teenage behavior. The liberals have no real power so they vocally try to assert themselves and all they achieve is what we allow them to achieve. So liberals, what do you actulally belive in? Or am I right, you just believe in everything that opposes what we believe in?

I support this country, I pay my tax, and contributes to my community. Its been said the route that we took in Irac has created more terrorist. Still some people still agree we should stay the course....... create more terrorist?
Where is the logic in this. Isn't making a desicion in which we know will later put us in more danger, not supporting the best intrest of this country?

Look at the Insurgents. Just look at them. They are only a rag tag group of people but they are kicking the United States rear end everyday. We are so powerful and they are so weak but they have a good reason to fight the USA. ( What would you do if tanks from another country rolled down your streets? ) The Rag Tag insurgents are taking on the USA and are hurting/killing the troops who fight for Bush and his ideas. Soon my nephew will be over there fighting for Mr Bush and his illegal war. ( He is out of Boot camp 2nd week of Oct ) If my nephew dies at least I tried to tell him the truth.
