Was your license suspended for DWI? The breath analysis is a machine they put on your car you have to breath into or the car will not move, put on by state if convicted of DWI. I'm guessing only the state can remove this, or at least you will need a letter indicating you ar no longer required to have it. Per the DMV, it can only be removed by court order.

SR = Safety Responsibility Suspension
ALR = Administrative License Revocation

If you have either of these on your license, there is an additional statutory reinstatement fee to be paid.

Definition of SR:
Driving without insurance or failure to provide proof of insurance. Possible also for repeated violations.

Definition of ALR:
An Automatic License Revocation action, or “ALR” for short, is a civil administrative proceeding against your driving privileges by the Texas Department of Public Safety. It is triggered if you either 1.) refused to submit to breath or blood testing when requested by an officer, or 2.) failed a breath or blood test. Specifically, an individual may be suspended if s/he refused to submit to a chemical test or provided a specimen with an alcohol concentration of 0.08 or greater. The DPS is also authorized to suspend the driver licenses of minors who commit the offense of driving under the influence (DUI).

Hank Sr. should not be reinstated. They didn't want him when they could have him, so why now? That is like presidents of today apologizing to people for mistakes in past wars!!! What good does it do now, the damage is already done. Let the powers that be at the Opry live with their stupid mistake. Hank Sr. lives on, because a true Country Boy Can Survive!!!!
