I have an exclusion order placed against me from entering Canada, which has separated me from my wife and 2 young children who live there so I'm desperately trying to get back up there to be with them. They live in BC so I'm wondering where the best place would be in Washington that I'd be able to sneak across the border. Don't give me that it's illegal crap, I all ready know.

EDIT: I don't live in Washington. I live in Illinois. Since they live in BC, I figured that would be the best place to try and enter because of the major cities right across the border I could easily sneak into.

I could afford to pay the $3000 to fly them here if my wife didn't have to quit her job up there because there was no one else to watch the kids or I wasn't too depressed from being apart from my kids for the last 6 months.

EDIT: I was excluded from Canada because I entered legally in 2001, overstayed my visa, and didn't leave till earlier this year because of health problems my mother was having. She was very close to passing away. When I tried to return after my mother recovered, I was detained and the order was placed against me. I didn't commit any other crimes while I was there or anything that might be deemed illegal.

Dear Getmycountryback,

All those things are only possible with something called money. Perhaps you should read my edits about my wife having to quit her job because no one is around to take care of the kids and I'm too depressed and emotionally and mentally unstable because I'm separated from the people who are my whole world. It's so much easier to say something instead of having to actually think it through to see if it will work isn't it?

If I had to sneak into Canada.I'd use the water, sail in. I'd try to avoid sailing into a small town though. Some guy tried that last week taking a motorboat from Greenland to the most northern town in Canada's arctic.Of course all the eskimos thought it was a big deal and the local mountie noticed and caught him.
I'd check where the highway's were and load up a small bike or moped on my sailboat and find a harbour in the bush.
They have sensors in the ocean floor around Canada but I don't think they have that program everywhere on the coastline-which is huge of course. If you plot your course carefully you'll make it with this plan.I don't know if Washingon is a good idea .They are watching all the western provinces borders because of the hidden grow ops and marijuana farms in Western Canada.Good luck, though.

Yup it's illegal, glad you already know but it's not right. Why don't you move them to the States until things are resolved? Or like, you move to Oroville, WA, and move them to Osoyoos, British Columbia, so you guys live 5 minutes away. You can each get a house on either side of the border and be neighbors!

If your wife and kids loved you they would come across on their own to visit you in Washington. What is the nature of your exclusion order?

I don't know anything about Washington as I live on the other side of the country in North Carolina. Can't your wife and kids come to you in Washington?

Why do you have an exclusion order placed against you? What makes you think that entering Canada illegally will make you immune to getting caught?

How about trying to bring your wife and 2 children to Washington? If you get caught, you could be deported and may face other charges. It may not be worth the risk to end up in jail.
