There really does not seem to be any way to make them happy. They remind me of children who fight their parent's authority even if doing so is contrary to their best interests. So if we want to beat them all we have to do is act like we agree with them. Remember how disgusted you were if you heard your mother or father listening to a song that you felt belonged to your generation? You might even stop listening to the music when you find out your "lame" parents like the same stuff. So if we act like we support abortion I bet all of the liberals will become pro-life. This is classic teenage behavior. The liberals have no real power so they vocally try to assert themselves and all they achieve is what we allow them to achieve. So liberals, what do you actulally belive in? Or am I right, you just believe in everything that opposes what we believe in?

I believe a lot of what you see that is called liberalism and a lot of those who profess to be liberal are nothing more than SOCIALISTS hiding behind what appears to be a respectable philosophy.

If you will review the link below I think you will see that a lot of those in congress that profess being liberal are nothing more than marxists who seek to overthrow our government from within.

There is also a link to a history of modern liberalism that sheds some light on what I think you will see to be its inherent evil. It is too bad that "liberals" will not read and understand the real intent and if they were to do so I think a lot would drop the liberal moniker.

"Liberals" often like to link themselves to the philosophies of the founding fathers. What they espouse today is nothing more than socialism and communism which is far removed to the liberal mindset in the 16th and 17th centuries.

There is an interesting article in chronwatch that would be helpful assuming you can get the "liberals" to read, it might help them.

You will of course be labeled as an extremist, not part of the American people, for voicing your opinion as the liberals often consider that freedom of speech only applies to them, not us.

"Extremist" Anybody who opposes anything a liberal wants.
"American People" - Democrats, all others fall into the right-wing conspiracy camp who aren't considered American, and have no 1st Amendment
rights.

You seem to be intelligent so I don't understand why you don't get it. People have their own ideas of what is right and what is wrong. You can not claim to be right about everything in this world, that is impossible. What make you think Liberals are wrong about everything they think is true. Instead think of it this way. Liberals are right about 50% of the time and conservatives are right 50% of the time and some time neither are right. To put in short you will never no the real truth of this world until you die so in the mean time just do what you think is right and don't put people down who disagree.

You forget that this rebellion is actively fueled by hollywood. While Mel Gibson, Green Day, the Dixie Chicks, and the like may be good entertainers, many of them are entirely uneducated and shouldn't be used as a source of political opinion.

But because they are celebrityies, their opinion is widely published and liberals who want to rebell against the government use that as something to follow.

Until later on in life when they get jobs and "sell out" to become responsible citizens. Then the celebrities just seem like the silly uneducated idiots they are.

when you say modern.. what do you mean? please explain

There's something happening here
What it is ain't exactly clear
There's a man with a gun over there
Telling me I got to beware
I think it's time we stop, children, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
There's battle lines being drawn
Nobody's right if everybody's wrong
Young people speaking their minds
Getting so much resistance from behind
I think it's time we stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
What a field-day for the heat
A thousand people in the street
Singing songs and carrying signs
Mostly say, hooray for our side
It's time we stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
Paranoia strikes deep
Into your life it will creep
It starts when you're always afraid
You step out of line, the man come and take you away
We better stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
Stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
Stop, now, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down
Stop, children, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down

Yeh, there's definately a 'backlash' thing with political parties; unfortunately it's over non-issues so they can grab votes from morons like you.

The 'fight back' mood is used by all parties to grab popular interest by appealing to the frustrated mood of their audience at an issue. What's more disturbing is the way self-proclaimed republicans attempt to strip all worth away from their opponents and humiliate them over and over again. It simply proves they're unable of learning from their mistakes.

I believe in pro choice anti death penalty, gun regulation, separation of church and state, finding alternative sources for energy rather than start a war for oil.I believe that corporations should pay appropriate taxes and wages, and be held accountable for all the pollution they spew into the earth. I believe that no religious group should attempt to tell me how to live my life. I believe that is not the governments job to intervene in personal choices, such as abortion, terry shiavo in florida, and that eminent domain is very very wrong. So I also believe in standing up for yourself and when some one is doing something wrong calling them out on it.

Liberal=rebel. Yeah I guess I can see that. Washington, Jefferson, Franklin, Hamilton - they were all sponsoring a rebellion. And they were certainly Liberal thinkers - there's that damned Enlightenment again. Thank goodness they were too. Or we might not be able to have this discussion.

The beauty of this country is you can voice any opinion for just about any reason.

Like when I state,"You're talking out of your ***."

See? I can say that because it's that type of country.

I think with a lot of young people that this is the case. It's the same as getting a piercing or a tattoo - something to separate them from their parents.

Sometimes they grow up and sometimes they don't.
