This is a general question, but I'd specifically appreciate your ideas on what society can do to make politics better.

It has been on the news that illegal Latinos (some) have formed gangs. It has also been reported that the Black gangs (Crypts and Bloods) have gotten together to fight the Latino gangs.

My question is, "Does it really matter if these low lifes kill each other"?

Doesn't it solve problems for the law abiding people?

Why would anyone care about their war with the exception of innocent people being hit in the crossfire?

My son is 19 and, while we have saved money to send him to college, he doesn't want to go. He is thinking about joining the Air Force so that he can get college credits WHILE learning a skill and working. He is under the impression that he will come out with at least an AA degree, a marketable skill, savings, and that he will be able to completely avoid being placed in harms' way. These are all his strict criteria for joining. I'm worried that he will join, that these critieria will not be met, and that he will not be a great fit for that lifestyle. How can he talk to others who have recent experience?

Hard one to answer isn't it?

There's a reason why liberals control colleges, Hollywood, global business, and soon Congress.

Only active neocon actors, not actors turn politicians.

Who's your favorite neocon Republican actor?

Okay, don't give me the obvious, "They could get brains". If that's all you can think of, then you might consider getting your own. Really, how can we improve the political system?

When do you normally recieve a first letter from a marine? I keep checking the mail everyday and still have nothing. Could it take him two weeks to write? I am going crazy not knowing how he is doing both mentally and physically.

Illegal immigration is a hot issue. The vast majority of Americans want them deported yet our politicians are doing little to nothing about it. They are supposed to represent the majority.

Realistically speaking, what do you thing will be the final outcome of this entire issue? Please do not tell me what you want to happen but what you think will actually happen.
Deportation? Amnesty? Partial deportation? Path to citizenship? What do you think?

I accept that violent extremists can come from anywhere but there does seem to be a particular problem with violent extremists professing Islam as their guidance. Looking for terrorists is like looking for needles in haystacks and with limited resources attention is bound to be paid to Muslim communities.

Please no answers about nuking millions or death squads quietly taking the terrorists out and somehow suppressing press coverage.

It may be true that Muslim leaders have not been pro-active enough in publicly condemning terrorism but this is largely outwith our control.

Is the only answer to accept that we are in for a long struggle and will need to accept some pain in the form of successful terrorist attacks in the process if we are to fight this battle in an appropriate manner? Any thoughts?

A house is something that you own it's yours alone. A Country is not privately owned. So why does everyone keep posting that analogy ? It does not make sense, when compareing the illegal immigrants.
