A house is something that you own it's yours alone. A Country is not privately owned. So why does everyone keep posting that analogy ? It does not make sense, when compareing the illegal immigrants.

Good question, I'm glad you brought this up. There is NO comparison. A house is a house, a country is a country.Period.

You can compare the two for a couple reasons. It requires the same acts, i.e. sneaking in, making sure you don't get caught, avoiding law enforcement, breaking the law. And two was somewhat said in the first example, THEY ARE BOTH ILLEGAL. And both should be punished. Although I think the government is soft with just deporting them, and I don't think they should be sent to prison. We would still have to pay for their food, tv, bed, and clothes if we sent them to prison, no, I think the death penalty is good for this situation. That would give a CLEAR message to all the others to leave or be executed. The ones that give them jobs should serve long prison terms, as well as the ones that rent apartments to them. America is finally waking up and wanting something done about this issue, just some of us are waking up on the stupid side of the bed. I can see why when they covered themselves up with the mexican flag to keep warm.

Wait a second, where did you get the idea that a country is not privately owned. A country is owned by the citizens of that country, just as a house is owned by a family.
Mexico is owned by the citizens of Mexico. America is owned by its citizens. So there is slight difference between entering a house or a bank illegally, or a grocery store, or a nation.

Both are ILLEGAL.
NEITHER should be rewarded.
PRISON would be the punishment of the house intruder. (ILLEGAL invaders only face deportation. Maybe THEY should get PRISON as well!! We are letting them off easy by deporting!!)
Sometimes you have to paint a picture for some ignorant imbeciles to understand. Or, bore a hole in their numb skulls and POUR it in!! Why is it so difficult to understand? It is against the law of the USA to enter our country without the proper documentation!! NO papers, NO entry!! GOT it ?!! sheesh!!
Just because we HAVE lawbreakers here does NOT justify the initial crime committed by border jumpers to COME here ILLEGALLY!! Every step they take, every move they make, every breath they take, everthing they do while on USA soil is ILLEGAL, because they are illegally here!! Over 200,000 per year are leaving, be a part of the exodus!!

Both are Trespassing, which is a criminal act.
And it does make sense when you break it down. Sneaking into a country and sneaking into a house both can be breaking an entering. You enter a country without permission -criminal act
you break into someones house- criminal act.
Just on different levels of severity.

I agree it is not the same, however in light of the destruction of the World Trade Center everyone who enters this country needs to go through the proper channels. I don't believe it will solve the problem 100%, but it is a start. Just like criminals who find ways to get guns illegally people will find a way to enter our country illegally. I will not comment on the ones already here.. that would make me a hypocrite.. just last week I exceeded the speed limit on my way to work.. breaking the law myself.

They keep comparing these two different things because they're not smart enough to come up with another analogy. Probably there is no analogy that wouldn't come out sounding racist and ignorant. This is after all the only one they can think of and keep repeating it amongst themselves.

It's kinda like this----when you go out and lock the door behind yourself isn't it a good feeling when you get back to see everything just as it was when you left.Bit like the government who we pay and pay and pay to make sure they keep the door locked because we all know what happens when we leave the door open, don't we.Or do we.

I am sure that someone on our side of the border owns the land.Going on someones property without being invited is called trespassing. How would you like it if thousands of people walked across your property everyday.
What is wrong with you people today?
