i've read alot of input from both sides of the political spectrum. it seems to me that many republicans are afraid of big government because they think this will cause corruption and the people may ultimately lose their freedoms. i've also noticed that many democrats are afraid of big corporations because they think this will cause corruption and the people may ultimately lose their freedoms as well. it seems to me that both sides of the political spectrum are complaining about the same thing: too much power in the hands of a small group will cause the enslavement of a nation and no freedom at all. i've always felt that both sides have a perfectly logical point and I find it ironic that both types of people are basically arguing about the same thing and yet never hear that the other side may have a point as well. Do you agree?

Isn't it time for the USA to get Nationalized HealthCare like the rest of the modern nations.

It's a shame that the Republicans have blocked this idea. Nationalized healthcare will guarantee true health services for all Americans, not just those with insurance.

Would you support/join the Christians, support/join the Muslims, or stand by on the side and wait? (Btw, do not quote Iraq saying the holy war has already begun, no christian nation has declared war on Islam, do you see Europe mobilized invading the middle east? For the same price as what the war in Iraq will eventually cost: at least 750 billion dollars, we could have either:

Allowed the government to hire a private company to offer the (optional) installation of $10,000 worth of solar panels *per home* in America and increase our wind energy resources and as such would have drastically reduced our dependence on foreign oil.

Or we could have ended homelessness in America 10x over (or almost worldwide)

Do you people really trust these politicians???

When I call someone from my cell phone, they are telling me that the caller ID shows the some body's else name (some one I know!). When I called the cell phone company they told me that they found no errors in their database!
How can I correct this? Is it possible to find out what have caused this?

I was manager at a Quiktrip for 3 years and was let go for flipping off a customer. I went to work at a Shell gas station for seven months. While manager there I knew some were stealing but the cameras didnt work. I asked and asked for them to get fixed, while all of this was going on I adjusted some numbers to not show a loss so I could keep my job. I also put some of my own money in the safe to cover some of the losses. Once the cameras were fixed I found one employee stealing gas and cashing it out on the registers, I terminated her. Another employee was scratching off lotto tickets and I didnt fire her. After I quit for a better job I was told by the owner that he was charging me with stealing over $9,000.00 in lotto tickets and cash from the time between August and October when I quit. I didnt steal it and he has all of the paperwork How can i possibly prove my innocence. I have two young children and have never been in trouble before , Help what should I do?

I woke up early today and turned on MSNBC and heard this story that Bin Laden may have died from a water bourn illness. I just wonder if any of you have heard anything else in your neighborhoods......... When I think of this it saddens me as this is such a medically advanced time and if true, one of the leaders of his peers may have died from being afraid to go to a public doctor.
