When I call someone from my cell phone, they are telling me that the caller ID shows the some body's else name (some one I know!). When I called the cell phone company they told me that they found no errors in their database!
How can I correct this? Is it possible to find out what have caused this?

The same name shows up, no matter who I call. I also wouldn't want to change the number, because I use it for business too.

Tell your friend to check the phone numbers stored in his/her phone. Sometimes if a phone number is stored in a cell phone, the name it is stored as shows up and not a "caller ID" number. It would make sense that a friend of yours was accidentally written as the name in another friend's phone.

take it into a company store, and let them try it, normally the sim card on newer phones but also some allow you to program into the phone this info, obviously you saved this persons number in the wrong file and it is now showing up.

You may see if they will replace the card or you try to merely erase all the info ( set it back to default settings)
