We "talked" to the USSR for 40 years about nukes. Nukes are really the only real WMD. However we don't "talk" to Israel about their nukes; we authorize India to violate the NPT with their nukes. We would never "talk" to China about theirs because they're not afraid of us.The hypocrisy here runs pretty wide and deep as is does with many other issues. Iran is at least 10 years away from developing anything and still is in compliance with the NPT. North Korea would wipe South Korea off of the surface of the earth if we went to a military option; so "talking" is all that we can do.

Well the first thing we need to do is maybe TALK TO THEM THE FIRST TIME. We have not been to the table and we demand it our way or we refuse to talk about it. Our way or bombs away.
We need to defend the United States and not wory about the rest of the world. But I agree with one point all of our leaders have made and that is we need to take the war to them and not allow them to bring it here to us.

We haven't talked to either yet. Not really.
Are you aware that the US pursued a policy of nuclear containment deterrence and detente for 40 years and it worked? Why can't some of these successful approaches be tried now?
Is the Bush track record so successful that you feel you must continue to trust his unproven strategies?

With an attitude like that, dont you think it's assured that we will get nuked one day? Why do you want us to be the bully of the planet? Did being the bully work out well for Nazi Germany or the USSR?

You want to invade North Korea and Iran? How many fronts do you think we can fight at once? Hitler tried to fight everybody at once, remember? And where did it get him? He wasted a perfectly good military. Is that what you think we should do? Go learn something about strategy and get back to me.

What do you mean we?? Mr. Bush has refused to join the talks. So I guess its not up to the USA how long or how much talk takes place.

Lets give them another 6 Billion dollars to stop, like North Korea.
You can thank the current North Korean problem on Slick Willy Clinton, he gave them the money to advance their program

Quite anxious to 'mix it up' are you?
I say we send YOU over for a reconnisance mission just before dropping anything significant. Of course, we won't have time (or desire) to get you out.

You 'talk' until you find a solution, idiot! The problem is that Bush doesn't 'talk', he only talks about setting 'conditions and demands' for having 'talks'.
He is an insult to American intelligence.
