In either the United Nations or within a country that has experienced them. Could George Bush, for example, be charged with war crimes for the killing of thousands of people for his decision to invade Iraq and topple the existing government?

The Pastor entered his donkey in a race and it won. The Pastor was so pleased with the donkey that he entered it in the race again, and it won again.
The local paper read: PASTOR'S *** OUT FRONT
The Bishop was so upset with this kind of publicity that he ordered the Pastor not to enter the donkey in another race. The next day, the local paper headline read: BISHOP SCRATCHES PASTOR'S ***. This was too much for the Bishop, so he ordered the Pastor to get rid of the donkey. The Pastor decided to give it to a nun in a nearby convent.
The local paper, hearing of the news, posted the following headline the next day: NUN HAS BEST *** IN TOWN.
The Bishop fainted. He later informed the nun that she would have to get rid of the donkey, so she sold it to a farmer for $10.
The next day the paper read: NUN SELLS *** FOR $10
This was too much for the Bishop, so he ordered the nun to buy back the
donkey and led it to the plains where it could run wild.
The next day the headlines : NUN ANNOUNCES HER

Me and my fellow officers all pretty much think that all drug users should be taken out and shot. Do you agree with us. It worked in China, a bullet to the head and the cost of the bullet was sent to the family.

I think that is just what we need here in the U.S.

That would get rid of the drug problem.

Tell us what you think.

Do you have a more effective method.

Our hands as law enforcement are tied because we have to let a crime occur.

I think that it would be much more practical law enforcement to stop crime before it occurs.

Say for instance all the kids out there nowadays are all a bunch of punks. I think that we should do preemptive strikes on all of them and lock them all up for a certain period of time because I know that all of them will commit a crime.

We could nip it in the bud. Our Law Enforcement statistics show that virtually all children out there will commit some type of violation before they're age 25.

Therefore I think we should put them all in prison before they commit the crime.

This would make things much easier for us police later down the line. By us putting them in jail before they commit their crimes we could already have them fingerprinted and get their d.n.a. samples ready to be processed that would make our job just so much easier. Also the little punks would have some respect for the law.

I'm supposed to believe that the man who sat in a classroom reading a
kids' book for seven minutes AFTER he was told the country was under attack,
who was warned repeatedly about imminent threats against the country and
chose to ignore them, who has traipsed off on vacation every time there is a
domestic or international disaster, is a decisive man-of-action with the
fortitude to run a nation.
I am supposed to believe that God himself chooses my nation's leaders
and that, in His infinite wisdom, he chose a lying, thieving, self-
absorbed, pro-torture, pro-war, lazy frat-boy jerk like George W. Bush.
I am supposed to believe that the same man who used family money and
influence to duck military duty, who has failed at every business
venture he ever tried, who never did an honest day's work or accomplished
anything of value in his entire life, is fit to be Commander-in-Chief.

Andrew Luther ran to Mexico when he was out on bail to escape bail. Scott Peterson tried to do this as well but was caught prior to leaving. Do you think if we punish people for bringing Americans back we are setting a president that being wealthy can buy a person freedom?

Then anyone can do whatever they want to their fellow Americans and just run to mexico with no fear of extradition because Mexico wants their money.

Do you think this is a slippery slope to start walking?

This man had a revenge list in his journal so muder might have been on his list in the near future. He might not have stayed in Mexico forever.

Wasn't it Thomas Jefferson who said give me Liberty or Give me Death. American citizens are being enslaved with new restrictions on their liberties that will probably be worse than death.

The police are going out of control with their laws. So many people are becoming felons because of harsh drug laws.

And then these felons can never get a decent job again to feed their families.

Now because of the erosion of the U.S. Constitution probably 1/2 the u.s. will get entwined in the criminal justice system because everyone does something wrong.

Whether it's puffing a joint, or hiring a prostitute, or homosexual sexual acts.

There is no one without some sin. Just some get caught and some don't

And yet with a felony conviction, your life is pretty much destroyed.

All our founding fathers were beer drinking, manufacturing criminals. They all would have violated our prohibition laws. That's why they made the constitution.

And now the police are stomping it out.

I served with co's my first time in the Army (1972-1974). They worked as cooks, medics, finance, etc. There are some that I have talked to, that for religious reasons, would join the military, if they did not have to carry a weapon. Co's were also in all wars, until the mid 70's, when the last drafty was drafted (1973, I believe it was).

Simple economics dictate that if a demand is there then suppliers will provide. Surely it makes sense to tackle demand by imposing harsh penalties for possession and use of illegal drugs thereby reducing demand. No more 'personal use' defences (try claiming a gun found in your car was for personal use only!) or letting junkies and pot-heads off with a caution.
It needs to become risky and humiliating to be caught using illegal drugs. Employers should fire staff convicted of posession as a matter of routine, instead of offering counselling etc. Punishment should include public naming and humiliation. No more methadone, etc - just cold turkey until they are clean. Until the fun is taken out of the use of drugs then demand will always create supply.
We still need to send suppliers down for a long time but those who use are equally guilty of perpetuating the trade. They have to be made accountable for their antisocial actions that impact on us all.

I just think that she would not be so "trigger happy", women think it out and all the possible outcomes. I do not think Bush did that at all. Will you vote for a woman president if she ran? I don't mean Hillary necessarily, but some very respected and smart woman. We have a lot, but not necessarily running. We should encourage it, do you think?

Criticism of call it what you want, plutocracy, unfettered capitalism does NOT imply communism, but it does mean travesty (mocking ) of democracy.

Can democracy produce these statistics?

The top 1% of the American population averages $15 million in net worth. Middle class holdings are $81,000. 30% of households have less than $10,000 in holdings, and 17% of households have a negative net worth. And this is said to be the wealthiest nation on earth!
