This just shows racism comes in all forms. Not just color.
I have to agree with you though. Also Blair has left him a terrible legacy.

3000 new criminal laws, Iraq, Brits under constant monitoring, double jeopardy prosecutions.

How have you guys put up with all your freedoms being taken away?

No, he'll lose because he'll be leading a very unpopular party, and people will (quite rightly) associate him with all of Blair's failings.

There have been proportionately more Scots than English PMs in the last century or so - Balfour, Campbell-Bannerman, Bonar Law, MacDonald, Douglas-Home - though they were of course all before devolution.

As an Englishman, I don't see the problem as being a Scot leading the UK or deciding on "reserved powers" (treasury, defence etc): it's just with Scots MPs voting or being ministers for English functions where the Scottish equivalents are devolved.

Greedy Gordon - no not because he a Scot - because he doesn't help core voters. About 10% of the 100 million registered to vote do. Most of those are students, their grannies and grandpas and the disabled and chronically sick. We have the Welfare reform Bill going through parliament - that's a vote loser. They have attacked students with fees and loans. The elderly are getting screwed with high energy costs - mainly from British Gas who make record profits. Incidentally, if we have a population of 56 million - 16 million can't vote because they are kids - who are the other 60 bloody million on the register - I've heard of people in other countries that aren't even British voting! But if they didn't the Conservatives would have no MPs.

Not because he,s a Scot , but because he is a Maniac ,Taxing the Life out of Great Britain. when the "Reality" of his actions come out into the open and the Results are felt it won,t be an "Election" he will loose it will be his credibility and he will be seen for the Tosser that he really is . then the British Taxpayer will be left to foot the bill while Brown slips quietly away from the scene.

He will probably lose because as usual in any pressure situation the Labour politicians revert to tribalism plus by the time the election comes his 'buddy' Tony will have shafted him.

I hope so, I don't know if anyone has noticed but most of the lucrative engineering contracts have mainly gone north. Companies in the south are suffering badly at the moment.
