I just think that she would not be so "trigger happy", women think it out and all the possible outcomes. I do not think Bush did that at all. Will you vote for a woman president if she ran? I don't mean Hillary necessarily, but some very respected and smart woman. We have a lot, but not necessarily running. We should encourage it, do you think?

I read some of these, and the statement was that it would be a "joint" effort, but do you see people like Powell, and many others drop off the "Iraq" war bandwagon. They told Bush if he went to war with Iraq, he would own it, and he does, meaning he would eat it in the end. I am not sure he had all the votes, and not the UN either. I don't think he listened to his advisors very well. I know he has to have cooperation, but like you say, it is politics, it is amazing who the president and his dad can sway, and the VP too, gas went too high. I voted for him, but analyzing what you are up against, would have helped and had UN support. I really do not think it was a strictly military decision, you will never know the real reason behind it. I just think it could have been done differently. It has sucked our country dry of finances. Kennedy did not react that violently when he was faced with a decision over Cuba, which could have been disasterous. Timing is everything.

If a woman can be elected President, she better be tougher than any of the Men anyway.
Women can be the most viscous thing you have ever seen.
If provoked, I think they'd be more likely to use Nukes.

Well, we had a woman prime minister and we still managed a war :-)

Due to the fact that a country is actually run by a body of people who discuss things and agree (or disagree on things) I am not sure how much of a difference it would make.

Most of the ministers will probably be male, the most of the army and security forces will be male, so how much difference will a female head make.

If she were a female dicator, which ultimate power that would be different, but one woman surrounded by all those men will probably do just the same.

No. I believe she would use her intellect, check it out with top advisors, contemplate what it means to take us into another war, determine if there is real reason to go to war, and use all other options available, before ever taking us to war!
Yes! I would vote for a woman president! It's about time, don't you think?
Also - FYI. I believe it was Larry King who hosted the Democratic Women Senators on a panel discussion, and they all were great! They were all thoughtful, intelligent, savvy, quick witted and, presented themselves with a great deal of dignity. When asked if any of them could be President, they all responded supportively of one another, and said yes! Each in their own right is capable of doing a great job as President of the United States.

The president is not isolated when he/she decides to shoot or duck. There are members of the president's cabinet and the intelligence gathering people, the heads of other nations, the members of congress and many more people that assist the president to make a decision. I doubt that we have ever had a president that went to war that was anxious to do so. Time and circumstances dictate whether there is war or peace, not the gender of the president.

It most likely would not make much of a difference, if a woman or man was in power...are they not like puppets who have their strings pulled and they move which ever way the hand makes them?

Women tend not to like violence, but it always depends if she is a Dem. or Rep.
