Our hands as law enforcement are tied because we have to let a crime occur.

I think that it would be much more practical law enforcement to stop crime before it occurs.

Say for instance all the kids out there nowadays are all a bunch of punks. I think that we should do preemptive strikes on all of them and lock them all up for a certain period of time because I know that all of them will commit a crime.

We could nip it in the bud. Our Law Enforcement statistics show that virtually all children out there will commit some type of violation before they're age 25.

Therefore I think we should put them all in prison before they commit the crime.

This would make things much easier for us police later down the line. By us putting them in jail before they commit their crimes we could already have them fingerprinted and get their d.n.a. samples ready to be processed that would make our job just so much easier. Also the little punks would have some respect for the law.

Getting locked up will make them better criminals. If I was locked up without reason I would retaliate thus creating more crime, otherwise I have no reason to commit a crime.

Yes and you should be the first to sign up for the new program.

It is a well known fact in the law enforcement community that 99% of all police officers commit some type of crime during their careers.

So, you should spend at least 2 years in maximum security as a preemptive strike on your future crimes, assuming you haven't already committed your quota of crimes.

If you are a member of a police force, you are exactly the over-zealous type that give the police a bad name. Why, the police have already taken way too much power into their own hands as it is! And according to your question, you should be pleased that "pre-emptive strikes" are already occuring every day, nearly everywhere! Where have you been?

Don't you think that arresting every person who is caught using a recreational drug, but is non-violent, never has been, is disturbing no one, etc.... is not "pre-emptive" enough? If a drug user hurts, threatens, vandalizes or kills another person or their posessions, then arrest them for the crime against humanity. Not for simply kicking back and relaxing with friends.

The prisons and jails are already over crowded in this country as it is, and the majority of those incarcerated, have never harmed another person, and more than likely never will.

Get a clue!

Presuming that you are a police who is innocent about the Citizen's Charter issued by your Department itself, I suggest you to please go through it once before stepping into your office tomorrow.

I also presume that jailing youngsters means not allowing them to move around freely in the outer world. That will not help as there is no restriction of place for an Indian Citizen. If he/she has to commit some act un-becoming to a normal citizen, he can do it anywhere and everywhere. The point is that his/her act is un-becoming to a normal citizen. Your thought of jailing them in some particular place would increase the chance of committing any un-becoming act by such person/people is confined to that particular place or 'Jail' your words. Violation occurs only when the rule is not feasible.

Do you think that all rules in force have no loop holes at all? then you are wrong. If I don't know how to slip out of loop hole and avoid a rule, I only violate that rule and will not abide by it, if it is not at all feasible to me.

I am working for Government, and I see that all rules, reflect the selfishness of those rule makers and do not comply with public interest. You seem to be a new entrant to Police Department. You need to go a long way to understand the interest behind every rule. The duty of Government official/officer is to safegaurd the interest of ruling government (politicians).

You are an IDIOT! If you were even in any way affiliated with law enforcement you would know that if you tried that you would be in the slammer faster than you can blink. Maybe we should arrest your butt and put you in prison for even thinking of something so stupid. You need to read a criminal law book if you want to continue impersonating a police officer.

Yet another brilliant shade of "freedom fighter" I presume. This guy is utterly ridiculous. I am all for post birth abortions up to age 18 for some kids, but never all. There are too many good kids out there to just say lock them all up. Besides, after 18, they get to go to big boy jail. If they would just be good till then, we can dish out their just reward when a crime is committed.

Arrest people for crimes that "they might" commit? I didn't get into or stay in this business for 22 years to practice the doctrines of National Socialisim.

Best watch yourself. You'll be the subject of an IA in record time.

There is no way that you are a police officer so stop pretending. We do not lock up people for crimes that they did not commit, if we did I'm sure you would have been locked up a long time ago.

Why don't you start with your children so that way should they ever make a mistake they can be sent right to prison and you can write them letters to continue raising them!
