yes,it is a soft State and it is because of poor performance of our law enforcing authorities. Our total mindset is so corrupt that we have forgotten everything, even the blood sheding of our great freedomfighters. The uncultured and ill educated people are sitting at the helm of affairs therefore it is bound to happen.

Us Indians are forgetting the true character of our own country. Calling India a soft nation is misjudging our strenghts completely. We are dealing with terrorism as well as any other nation in the world. How can you sit there and say such things? These type of questions and comments only come from not having a real general overview of our nation and its history. Look at our surroundings, these are states which deliberately have seperated themselves from a nation which is open to all the world and its religions. However this has been taken advantage of by certain people during India's independence struggle. Politics was brought into the equation instead of keeping with our nations heritage. Although Pakistan and India have been at battle and have even warred at each other almost from insception of the former, I think that the degree of conflict should decrease inevitablely. Look at our neighboring Pakistan, they have fallen into the grip of terrorists because of their neighboring with Afganisthan. They are lost in an unstable government, and trying to be a representative as a Muslim state while the Muslim world is being over turned due to so many terroristic events spawing from their community. And as their neighbor they have us, I think if there is any change for Pakistan then India must make a big change for the better, which is not in the western culture direction. This is slowly trying to creep in and that would make is weaker than the weakest nation on earth. That can not happen. If more and more of our youth are falling for the western cultures advertisements then just think of our country and how much NOT like India it would look. Modernization does not mean westernization of the individual mindset. It means bringing our culture and beliefs to todays level, which is easy because our culture is timeless in its nature and boundless in principles. Don't say India is a weak country, make sure you do your part in being Indian to the heart beat, and let your blood run with the colors of saffron, white, and green, while you sweat blue so as to see with your own eyes that everything inside you is Indian. Then tell me, is our country a soft nation?
apple...what illegal occupation of Kashmir? It was India until Pakistan entered the equation...and what illegal occupation of anything in Hyderbad, get your facts straight and dont call India a terrorist state, we are nowhere near the Israelis in that sense. When have you heard of India invading and settelling in other nations?

That is correct. A spineless Prime minister only can make a deal with Musharraf after the Mumbai blasts. He agreed to check together with Musharraf in Kashmir for terrorists. that is a kind of joke on India. All the 16 people involved in Mumbai blasts are safely guarded and well taken care by Pakis. Dawood was given nationality there.
What a buffoon this PM.

Not a soft state, there is much from intrigue nature in indian administration than how it is exposed by media. I wont go into detail. And dont underestimate ALL of our politicians and some behind the hood workers. And it isnt easy to comb 1 billion to filter out terrorists, some are home-made, so it takes time. And do you think US / Israel are hard states on terror? They havent solved it either, they were more reactive thats it.. and an angry/afraid man is more reactive than someone composed and who knows what he is doing

i think anywhere the economy is so-so at best, people tend to lean on faith. Hezbollah is a perfect example of terrorist infiltration and outright celebration. They move in. Give you a band-aid, feed you, maybe even in some cases educate. Then they have you hold onto something for them...
India is kinda softy. sure. but I'm unclear why theyd want to set up there other than to do a few suicide runs here and there to disrupt commerce through the area. The people, I think are fast in their beliefs being indigenous as they are. So maybe not so much hardcore brainwashing going on there as evangelising.

No, India is not soft for terrorism bcoz if it is soft the would be present in each and every state present in the country. The Indian Army is at 3rd position in the world. So, it is not so easy for the terrorists to enter it completely. One should not under estimate one's country but must strive hard to place the country higher and higher.

The Muslim believe in eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. In India, the majority are Hindus who do not believe in violence.
The Father of the Nation has adviced :If someone slaps you on one cheek, show him the other cheek also.Which terrorist will not
