In the few short years since the first shackled Afghan shuffled off to Guantanamo, the U.S. military has created a global network of overseas prisons, its islands of high security keeping 14,000 detainees beyond the reach of established law.

Bush literally has 1000's & 1000's of "suspected terrorists"
in his secret torture prisons,
how come he hasn't been able to convict
ONE detainee for being a terrorist?
He's had 5 YEARS!

in Miami, they did an investigative story. They followed a "street Beggar" and watched him throughout the day. A the end of the day he got into his almost new car, and drove home to his 90 thousand dollar house. Where his wife had just returned from work in her late model BMW 325i. He changed and actually gave an interview and said that he usually made about 50 to 60 thousand dollars per year doing this.
Is this comparable to what Mexico has been doing to America for years?

South Bend Tribune ^ | September 15. 2006 | JAMES PRICHARD Associated Press
GRAND RAPIDS — Federal immigration officials have completed a five-day sweep of western Michigan in which they apprehended 54 fugitive illegal immigrants who had disappeared after receiving deportation orders. They also captured an illegal immigrant with an extensive criminal history who had illegally re-entered the United States after being removed, officials at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said Thursday. The initiative, dubbed "Operation Return to Sender," started Sept. 8 and ended Wednesday. The agency focused its efforts within the triangle formed by Lansing, Grand Rapids and Battle Creek. The sweep was part of an "interior immigration enforcement strategy" Burma, Cambodia, China, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Honduras, Indonesia, Korea, Mexico, Nicaragua, Turkey and Yugoslavia.Ain't diversity grand?
And angela R they're just here to work 24hrs a day and send 90% of their money back to their wife, 20kids and 100yo grandmother. Oh the pain and heartache!
Plus even more STILLMORE, Ga. — Trailer parks lie abandoned. The poultry plant is scrambling to replace more than half its workforce. Business has dried up at stores where Mexican laborers once lined up to buy food, beer and cigarettes just weeks ago. This Georgia community of about 1,000 people has become little more than a ghost town since Sept. 1, when federal agents began rounding up illegal immigrants. The sweep has had the unintended effect of underscoring just how vital the illegal immigrants were to the local economy. More than 120 illegal immigrants have been loaded onto buses bound for immigration courts.

i am 15 years old. i broke up with my ex girlfriend a couple months ago, and we were friends and there for each other ever since then. one night she said she wanted to talk to me, she said she was alone also. she drove over here with 8 guys. all over 17. she introduced me to one, and i shook his hand and was then put in a full nelson and punch in the face many times. they gave me 2 concussions with a bat and had a 9mm gun with them. only one guy has NEVER been in jail before. anyways, i was on the ground and i stumbled into a run and happened to have a small pocket knife with me. (3 and 1 half inch blade, and legal). i stabbed one in the thigh when they cornered me, and the rest backed off. called the cops on my cell phone in my pocket twice because they couldnt know i called. i then called after i got away and confessed. the cops are trying to get me with 1st degree assault (felony), and the others with misdemeanors such as curfew. i have very limited money, tell me your thoughts.

I think pro-life should not be included in this argument.

its not about being pro-life; being pro-CHOICE does not make you anti-LIFE. However being pro-life does make you anti-choice, in this issue at least.

I personally do not believe in abortions for myself because of my religion however i do believe in the FREEDOM to choose. (the US is about being free, is it not?)

People who are anti-choice, in my opionion, do not have a reasonable argument. What do you think?

I wanted to enlist in the Army as 31B and be a machinegunner..But I also didnt want to be some grunt running around w/ a gun in the middle of the desert..I want to be in combat but not like that..I also wanted to be in aviation, not a pilot, but in aviation..A recruiter helped me out w/ combining these preferences in one MOS, not in the Army..But the AF, as an Aerial Gunner..

Iv looked into it and it really sounds exactly what im looking for, Im going to enlist after I graduate High School..And im wondering how hard is it to become an Aerial Gunner in the AF?..I dont want to be on a giant plane 30,000 feet in the air, but In a UH-60, or some other kind of helicopter..So a few people mentioned 15T..(Black Hawk Repairer), but I really dont see how that is ANYTHING like I want..

I WANT to be in a helicopter w/ a 7.62 or some other type of machinegun..Would that be 15T,Aerial Gunner, or some other MOS..?

Aerial Gunner looks the closest, but do I get to choose what kind of
