Equality of opportunity does not exist without Freedom. Equality of outcome does not exist anywhere. To the extent a choice is required, Freedom is the ONLY rational choice. Given Freedom, Equality WILL follow.

Freedom, a person is never going to be equal to anyone else, that is impossible to achieve in any sense, people will always be offended by different things, thus not making everything equal for everyone.

Freedom is always more important. Equality is impossible regardless of how level you make the playing field.

I think I see what you are getting at but:
-The equality promised by socialist philosophy is unattainable, as people are not equal in aptitude and ability.
-The freedom offered by capitalism is a mirage, as someone born into poverty without a knowledge of how to improve themselves has very little freedom.
Sensible politics is about a compromise between equality and freedom to achieve the best possible quality of life for the highest number of people.

As they are both illusions created by the governing, neither is important to me. Love, acceptance and patience replaces those material-based synonyms, for what is equality if there is no love for one's equal, and for what is freedom if we do not accept the freedom of others?

Freedom. Without it there is no equality because you wouldn't have the right to fight for equality or anything else.

Freedom.
Free societies are more creative and productive than those focused on equality. Ultimately, it's better to be a "poor" person in a free society , making $20,000 a year, than an "equal" man in an egalitarian society making $10,000 a year.

Freedom is a very tricky word.
There are rules in America.. then why do you say we are free?
I dont have the freedom to kill you.
I dont have the freedom to curse here.
I dont have the freedom to do many things.
Equality... Again, what do you mean?
I cannot look at a girl the same way as I do a guy because a guy is NOT a girl.
Define your context.
