Unfortunately I have a bad answer to your good question: it depends.
Originally, Hitler did not intend to occupy Great Britain. He merely wanted to defeat France and come to an agreeable settlement with GB, so he could focus all of his attention eastward. If Hitler had gone into the war without the ultimate goal of destroying the Soviet Union, he could have made much different war preparations.
Hitler could have developed a Navy and Air Force sufficient to attempt a landing on GB. Occupying GB would have been extremely difficult, but with an extra 3 million troops that would otherwise have been sent to fight the Soviets, it may have been possible. If the Western powers had been defeated, it would have taken decades for GB or America to successfully invade the Continent. By that time, Germany probably would have nuclear weapons.
Of course, that all assumes that the Soviet Union wouldn't stab Hitler in the back while he was distracted with fighting Britain. Both Hitler and Stalin knew they would ultimately go to war. With German forces bogged down in a quagmire on the British Isles, the Soviets could have invaded Germany from the east in 1942 or 1943...or possibly earlier. Such an attack probably would defeat Germany, and would lead to Soviet domination of the entire Continent.

Simply stated, if the war in Europe had been protracted another several months due to increased defenses making an Allied invasion of Frogland unteneable, the use of a nuclear device or the threat thereof, would have decided the issue . As in August of 1945 with Japan. Much more desirable than having European countries going against us as they are now. There would be no countries or people. Simple.

If you read Mien Kampf, which for sheer bad writing and dreary boring phraseology has no equal, you will find that Hitler not only was a self centred monomaniac but his dream, his obsession, was conquering Russia which he seems to have the impression was mainly the Ukraine. He wanted to eliminate communism, provide living space for a growing Aryan nation(notice not German. Hitler wasn't certain all Germans were pure blood), and bread basket for the Riech. After the war he was going to work at that, after he got rid of the Jews and the Slavs. What he did he was going to do and he told everyone he was going to do it in the1920's.Great Britain was to be given a bloody nose to make them agreeable and then as fellow Aryans they and Germany would divide the world. Germany would retake her colonies in Africa and Great Britain would leave Germany a free hand in Europe. The USA, a nation of gangsters, cowboys and mongrels would be left in their neutrality.(I have always wondered how he would have classified the First Nations. He knew of us from pulp novels and films but never said whether we were sub-humans or not.I always wondered.) Hitler wasn't that well informed or interested in a very much.He was a lower bourgeoisie born and buried. He did what he did in the face of advice from every quarter and all the facts on hand. He would have done in this world or any of the infinity of alternatives. He cunning enough to make the plan not smart enough not to put it into action.

Don't know but do know the war would have been much longer and much more costly. Of course, the invasion would have still been by the USA but would have had to come from another way than across France. Doubtful, the allies had air superiority. Of course it would've taken longer and most likely would've come from N. Africa. If Britain was taken out, the N. African theatre would taken on greater importance in establishing a front in the West.

If is a big word. He would have had to listened to his generals and scientists. He then would have had to combat the industrial might of the U.S. Remember, the country that produces the most wins the war. The U.S. is many, many times larger then Germany. Germany, by that time, was losing the will to fight. How many more bombing raids could they withstand. Then, of course, there was the atomic bomb.

No. The Soviets would have still tried to screw him up, but he would still hold continental Europe except Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and Italy. The UK couldn't be invaded, it would have been as bad as the US trying to invade the main landmass of Japan.
Eventually the Soviets would have clobbered Hitler, they had an unlimited supply of conscripts and the political will to sacrifice them.
