I'm a liberal and a Christian. the Jesus I worship does not condone torture of any kind.
It's a Republican Value, any Christian who believes people should be tortured isn't a real Christian.

Republicans practice what is known as "physical pressure" which is not torture. Isolation, sleep deprevation, stress positions, humiliation, pretending to torture people in the next cell, mind games; can be a good way to extract information from people who we know have it. Israel has been doing these things actually for a long time and are quite good at it. It leaves no lasting damage and gives the interogators what they need, contacts and information.
Torture is lasting damage to the body to people that you know youre going to kill anyway and the US does not engage in that nor do conservatives endorse it.

Neither, sawing off heads and dropping people feet first into wood chippers is a Jihadist Muslim value. Considering how Democrats were against stopping Saddam's torture of Innocent civilians and want to give civil liberties and classified information to the detainees, I would say it's more of a Democrat value. Please pick a side in this war.

Um, but don't you guys want to forgive those poor mass murderers in our jails , you know... those guys who rape and torture women? You hire your big bucks lawyers to get them off the hook. So I would have thought you LOVED torture.
