remove a "question"...
It was a poem about 9/11...
One day out of a year...we have to remember what was taken from us. One day out of the year...we dedicate words, memories and prayers to family and friends....
One day out of a year...i posted a poem to support americans...hero's...families...friends....

I even said in the title..."not and question, more of a thought"

I would think that...they would have heart..to allow something to be posted...to represent..americans...and there feelings on that day....

Maybe it was just me...am i wrong???

As a expatriated brit, It never fails to amaze me how many lawyers
you americans have. We have a lay magistrate that consists of volunteers, able to hear lesser cases that would be your equivalent of your civil court system. Our "justices of the peace"
perform such acts out of the same volunteer spirit that americans
have for public affairs, and eliminate the need to professionalize
the system to the point you Americans have had.
Even on Yahoo answers, I see many answers that mention looking
for legal counsel, suing, etc. Its so ironic, because many europeans get the impression that americans "get along",
while in actuality they seem to run to legal means to settle even
petty nonsense(two replies to a waitress who got stiffed by a
customer advised the waitress to obtain legal counsel immediately!) This would be beyond laughable in the UK!
Finally, don't you feel that American lawyers game the system,
so to speak, to keep the biz flowing? I'm thinking of tort
& ambchasers.

I'm thinking about possibly sponsoring a couple, but I need to understand the responsibilities this would entail, including legal issues. I've read the government website, but its not much help. Could someone who knows the ins and outs of this please respond and tell me if this is a good idea or not. Is there another way to get a south american or latin american to work with me without having to sponsor them? As you can tell, I'm a novice at this.

All the Mexicans I know try thier best to get away from other Mexicans. They express thier hate for white America but in a way they hate Mexico too. They truly want thier cake and to eat it too. Does it make a Mexican sick to thier stomach to raise an American flag instead of that Mexican symbol of disgrace? Why are they so loyal to a failed country..is it all just a song and dance of confusion?

Lawyers for Slick Willy Clinton penned a letter to ABC on Friday demanding that the network correct what they consider "fiction" regarding 'The Path to 9/11' docudrama or decide not to broadcast it.

They can sit silent during such fictional and misleading garbage as "Fahrenheit 9/11" but when someone -- especially their beloved Hollywood -- dares to take another tack, and one based on FACT, they resort to what they do best: WHINING!

Some people trash Bush as though they could do a better job as president (laughable), but God forbid any of the loony left ever get back in that office. Bill Clinton is more responsible for 9/11 than anyone alive save bin Laden himself. The Republicans may not be doing everything right (illegal immigration and worrying about what the world thinks instead of dropping an iron hammer on Iraq, for example), but at least they are DOING something.

Does anyone seriously doubt we would have been attacked again after 9/11with Democrats in charge?

Why haven't you carried out a large-scale invasion of places like Sudan, Somalia, Ethiopia, Rwanda or Liberia, where MILLIONS of innocents die year by year, thanks to a lack of democracy and to the outright disregard for human rights, unlike Iraq, where even women could attend college?

Is it perhaps because these countries do not have as much Texas Tea?

(and don't bring up the 'Black Hawk Down' thing, it was a UN mission, not US Army's or NATO's)

Before you think your army is being heroic, think again...it's the oil, baby!

My friend has a suspended license.. or she thinks she does. She HAS to go to work to make money to pay for this, but what if she gets pulled over? She didn't even get a letter telling her it was suspended. She just knows b/c she is late paying a speeding ticket. If a cop gets behind her in traffic and runs her plate, does it come up if her license is suspended?

Does that injunction mean: "If you must wage war -- if it is impossible to avoid war -- then you stand a better chance of winning by being tricky"? Or does it mean: "Thou shalt wage war, and thou shalt deceive"?

e.g: Today's foiled attacks against U.S. embassy in Syria!

The Republicans have gone off on this radical religious mission which has begun to institute segregation and fear amongst the masses.
The Democrats have no platform except "we are the other guy."
Both parties refuse to close the border which the American people want. Both parties operate outside of the Constitution when it comes to elections. Both parties are more concerned with political victories then the welfare of the American people. The poor man's party lists 8 of the top ten wealthiest legislaturs. The republicans blame terrorism for the state of Iraq and second hand smoke. But the parties do agree that no independant will ever get into office. Even the primaries are designed so that a moderate will not be able to make a run for the presidencey.
So tell me why you still vote for these two parties? Please no "we do not have a choice." We do!
