looks like the post above me is using her son the same way Cindy Shehan did. Just different ends of the political spectrum. Good job. Now we know that shamelessness exists on BOTH sides of the aisle.

"Stay the course" means don't "cut and run" which is the liberal plan of action.
"Stay the course" means having to spend a lot now on things that should have been spent on during the 90's.
"Stay the course" means acknowledging that people really do want to kill us. You don't have to live in fear but don't live in la la land.
"Stay the course" means soldiers die for the freedoms others enjoy. Of course since you too are a soldier you know that already.
"Stay the course" means there is progress in Iraq. Since you have been in Iraq twice just like me you know that too. What do you expect after a few short years? Come on. We still babysit half the countries of WWII.
"Stay the course" means quit your whining. The 90's were wasted ignoring a real and dangerous threat to our way of life.
Come on liberals blast me. Give me some thumbs down for giving you the truth. Maybe you can at least "stay the course" on that.

Stay the course means :
Having the resolve to take a stand and follow through even when the wimps around you give up.
Believing in your military and knowing that soldiers haven't given up on this country .
Knowing that terrorists are waiting for any show of weakness and are laughing their A$$E$ off at all the liberals and the press but staying the course and defending your sorry butts anyway.

It means ignore all the negatives and the majority of people and other countries who disagree with you and go ahead with your ill-conceived, poorly planned war because you're too obstinate to admit a mistake that has cost huge numbers of human lives and has made the terrorist situation even worse.

I COULD BE WRONG BUT IN SHORT TERMS IT MEANS STICK WITH IT UNTIL THE JOB ETC. IS FINISHED.
