All the Mexicans I know try thier best to get away from other Mexicans. They express thier hate for white America but in a way they hate Mexico too. They truly want thier cake and to eat it too. Does it make a Mexican sick to thier stomach to raise an American flag instead of that Mexican symbol of disgrace? Why are they so loyal to a failed country..is it all just a song and dance of confusion?

I'm Mexican as is my family and many friends, none of us feel the way your friends do, nor are we confused. Perhaps you need new friends.

Added: So assuming that you are white and American you know thousands of people that hate you. And you're still working there? Perhaps the problem isn't with your "friends" if there are thousands of them that hate you.

I'm glad that you're not afraid of small Mexican men. But I'm a big Mexican man that plenty of people have been afraid of over the years. Mostly because I am not ashamed of my heritage, or any of the people who I represent and who do the same for me. I am proud of the culture that is a part of me and my family. It's also interesting that you call Mexico a failed country. Because some would categorize a failed country as one that tricks it's people into going to war with an invisible enemy, lies to it's people into staying at war, steals from the education of children to pay for bloodshed, and then turns around and tells the world that everything is going as planned! But you're right, I guess Latino's love life too much to be successful races. Good luck with your stupidity, I'm sure it's done well for you so far.

Its not about the country its about staying true to your roots.Contrary to what many claim on here about "if your legal your an american" the truth of the matter is that's a lie.If someone looks Chinese or Latino they don't say "wow there goes a fine American".Everyone is identified by their skin color and ethnicity and thought you might try to be more american the truth of the matter is that if you don't truly get in touch with your roots and culture then you don't really know yourself.Personally for me I hang and have a lot of Mexican and latino friends because that's whom I can identify with more.If for example I talk about my family, they know better where I am coming from.Because mexican and latino families tend to have different values and are more tightly knitted together than most american families.Yet I also have no problem in interacting with other cultures, that's what makes you more acceptance to others.Don't say someone is one way unless you have interacted with them and truly know what they are about, otherwise your just being ignorant and stereotypical.

I'm a Mexican-American born from two immigrants. It isn't just Mexicans btw. They don't hate the "white" population here; the reason they feel threatened is because they aren't wanted. They are a hard working race like any other immigrant out there. My people are proud of their race because they are very hardworking and the proud that live here and do hold up both flags. And the "Mexicans" you know are probably white washed or something cuz I don't try to ignore my own race.

no, theres an American flag in the front door of the house i live in, and it doesnt make me sick at all. and by your country being a "failure" doesnt take ur pride away, im still happy to say that im mexican, but i thank this country for the oportunities that has given me and i raise the flag to show my apreciation. but it does not in anyway take my pride.

They are called Economic Migrants. This means they go to your country to work because they can get more money and a better way of life. You can't blame them for wanting that.

The PROBLEM is the inequalities in the world that create a global economy where we have rich countries (you) and poor countries (them). Sort that out and they may all go home.

PS I visited Mexico 2 years ago and they are great people.

(I'm British)

so I'm canadian, and I guess just becuase of our multiculturism, meeting people from different ethnics isn't a problem for me, have you ever had to live life full of hatred and fear, always looking over your shoulder and scared for your life??? well, for some people in mexico thats the way their life is, and they move to america to get away from that. And just because you have too much patriotic spirit for America and don't open your eyes to the way of the world, doesn't mean that you should say such rude stuff about a person. Were all the same, and just becuase they may be a little darker than you and have a little accent, doesn't mean that they aren't proud of their roots.

Look at what you said, "all the Mexicans I know", how many Mexicans do you know, unless you know millions of them personally, then you are just generalizing. Thanks for your ignorance, have a great day.

As far as the Flag thing goes, I have 4 Flags hung up in my house, An American, The California Flag, The US Army Flag and the Mexican Flag, all things that I am Proud of.

Seriously, Thank you for deciding what I feel, thanks again.

Mukawuk - MS13 stands for MaraSalvatrucha a gang that originated in El Salvador, shows what you know.

Caroline H - Why won't they stay in their native country you say. You obviously missed the fact that many Mexicans are 3rd, 4th, and 5th Generation US born Citizens. They are American and of Mexican Heritage, they are Proud of Both, not all Mexicans or non-whites are illegals, many are legal immigrants as well as native born US citizens, you seem to miss that part. I thank you for your ignorance too.

As for you added comment, you say you ask Mexican people this all the time and they agree. Well you are asking it now and I'm Mexican, and I disagree, so your generalization is not correct, but thanks for your ignorance, have a nice day.
