Yes,Matt is an example..
Nobody can handle 9/11 better than Bush?I bet you 99% of americans would. They will go after the terrorist responsible for 9/11 and not invade a country that doesn't have anything to do with it.Bush didn't even stop the saudi companies that funded 9/11 from doing business in USA.

It's a mental disorder known as Right Wing Authoritarianism (RWA). Check it out on wiki. A certain group of people can't find fault with their government or party, especially if they voted them in. It's the same as people are extremely sore losers or can't admit they're wrong.

Matt over there is a prime example.

You're not often described a 'smart' by your friends, are you Matt?

It would be very logical to assume that if any of the nonsense that you Bush-haters claim is true, and can be supported by hard evidence, the Democrats would not have hesitated to use that in the last presidential election, or as political ammunition to impeach the President. The Democrats have nothing on him...and you sore losers may as well just lick your wounds and wait for the presidential next election. I hope your idol, Hillary runs, as she will get her butt royally creamed.

Why is it so hard to believe that ANYBODY would support President Bush? First, you have some who benefit from his policies and thus support him. You add in those who'd support any Republican or "conservative" (quotes because I don't believe he is conservative and I hate "neo-con" as a label), those who just like him for his personality or religious beliefs, or because of his stance on selected issues, and it is easy to see where people support him. Add in those who will support the President out of respect for the office, as well.

They support him because of his conservative agenda only. Their support has nothing to do with how well he is running the country, it has to do with oppressing gay rights and women's rights on one side. On the other side he gets support by making the rich even richer and holding the average person down. I think most people support him for their own selfish reasons and don't think about what would be the best for all, but people are becoming more and more self-centered. The truth, don't kid yourself.

It's the armchair reactionaries and spiteful, hateful religous fanatics.

28% of Adults voted for Bush in 2004.
Today it would be 16 or 17%

i agree , my reason for hating him is for keeping the war overseas , i much rather it be here on our soil so we can all be in danger , i also don't agree that he is trying to rid the world of terrorist and bad people , that bastard!!! what nerve he has trying to protect our country fighting in a land that we have fought in many times before , what was he thinking , he should have just sat back an waited for another attack

I think the main reason people support him is because they realize he has been president in a hard time. He has had to deal with an oil crisis, Katrina, and 9/11. Oh wait I forgot Katrina was his fault, so we'll scratch that. Not to mention the liberal agenda media that is always trying to nail him to the wall. you can say Clinton was a good president all you want to, but the truth is he was an ineffective leader. It is easy to look good when you do nothing.
