The troops will come home when Iraq is stable and not until then. If we pulled out now, all the lives lost would be for nothing. Iraq isn't ready to stand on it's own yet. It would be even worse to bring them home and have Iraq fall.
Do you ever wonder why members of the military aren't screaming to get out?? Think about it. Who are you or anyone else to say it's time they come home?? The military knows what their job is and they're doing it. They see what the American people don't see on the news or read in the newspaper. They're living it. They still know what they're doing, why they're there and they believe in it. Maybe you should too.

By all accounts NO.In retlliation to 9/11the Us attacked Afghanistan. They found nothing.Where is Mullah Omer? Where is OBL?The Americans are not that nave as not to understand that they cannot wipe out the entire nation of Afghans.Such an extermination never took place in History. If Hitler could not finish off a handful of Jews when even there was no resistance (terrorism) from the Jews. No govt. however strong, ruthhless and brutal it may be,can exterminate the Afghans.Mind you the whole Nation of Afghans is Taliban. How many will you kill? Let a dialogue be initiated.
As for Iraaq the position of the US is even much more precarius. There was no reason for attack.Lies &Lies cant jutify this war.Knowing very well that Iraq was not involved in 9/11, the lies are still coming out from the state deptt. that Saddam was also involved. The US should immediately withdraw its troops from Iraq and start again a dialogue. But unfortunately it will not happen unless The Jewwish Loby advises the US.

If we pull out before the job is finished, then what was the point? Then all those soldiers will have died for nothing. The war may not have been started for the right reasons, but we are there now, and no amount of hindsight will change that. Iraq needs to be able to defend itself from terrorists and foriegn insurgents. I will cry for America if we pull out of Iraq before the job is done. You will have proven that Bin Laden was right when he said Americans don't have the will to fight a long war.
--------------------------------------
REMEMBER THEM
If you are able, save for them a place inside of you and one backward glance when you are leaving, for the places they can no longer go.
Be not ashamed to say you loved them, though you may or may not always have. Take what they have left and what they have taught you with their dying and keep it with your own.
And in that time when men decide and feel safe to call the war insane, take one moment to embrace those gentle heroes you left behind.

If Americans don't pull out because they want to see the job through then they'd better prepare for a very long and expensive war, however if they really are intent on self immolation in Iraq then there are plenty countries waiting in the wings to take their place as the new global superpower.

no we shouldent be there. But some one has to keep them countrys from getting to big. just think if all them little countrys combined how big a place that would be for us to fight when they try to take the USA!!! there would be A 1000 times more deaths then there is now.what is enougf if we pull out now it'll be alright for now but what about your kid's and grand kids? **** you wouldent be liveing the good life right now if we just sat by in ww1 ww2 and look at the kids who died to keep you free in them two wars.you people think getting the troops out will end the war you need to stop and think about your kids and grand kids there will always be war, don't make it worse by cowing down...untell you see An 18 year old amarican kid sitting there against A hut with the back of his head missing becouse some vc put A bullet between his eyes then then you can't say ****...I know what we are fighting for.

I think we need to protect our own borders, we are wide open here at home for another Pearl Harbor/New York. However ww3 has beed perdicted we should protect ourselves first.
I do feel the Iraq's need to be monitored. They are out of control.
My son-in-law(Air Force)is there now,home (Germany) Oct.
and in October my brother-in-law (army reserve) goes to Iraq.

Sure and while we are at we should withdraw from any foreign country we occupy, cut off all aid to Africa, And stick all our troops on our borders. Sounds like a plan to me.

Granted any death is too many but we still need to be there. This is one of the least or smallest death tolls of any war so I think that is an improvement. If we pull out now then the terrorist win and we will have to live in fear for the rest of our lives.

Really? What price do you want to put on victory against tyranny and evil? What price should we have put on our victory in WWII? Ok guys, lets take out Hitler and the Japanese but only if it's not going to cost us more than....oh...lets say 200,000 dead. Anymore than that and it's just not worth it!
Thats ridiculous!
